This being my first soundbar, I don't really have anything to compare it to. Stopped into the store, listened to different brands that had displays set up in the store. Thought this one sounded the best. I bought it. I'm happy with it. Personally I think the soundbar does not need the optional sub woofer add-on as it suits my needs just fine. The manual setup for the spatial sound (I think that's what it's called), or whatever fine tunes the soundbar to the room and where you sit in said room is a bit weird, bordering on annoying. But it's quick, just have to repeat the process five times, so have fun with that. I know some of you try-hard audiophiles out there are pulling your hair out at my statement about the sub being optional. Deal with it neckbeards.

I want to love this sound bar but it constantly loses connection requiring a restart. The sound quality is fantastic for just a sound bar and the quality it to notch. I always seem to have issues when trying to connect via airplay, it will show its playing but no sound. I either redownload the latest firmware or unplug and plug in again and then it works. Same thing with normal pass through sound, sometimes when you turn the tv on no sound. Turn off tv and back on it will sometimes work but others you have to do the tricks mentioned above.

Best product when it comes to soundbar, using the Bose App helps and with WiFi I can easily connect any play from any device

This Bose sound bar rocks. I’ll thought I was buying a sound bar but this is so much more, I never knew what it does until I purchased this Bose 900 sound bar. This thing is a tuner that will replace my existing tuner and saves tons of space under my TV. The sound alone on the sound bar is crisp and clear just like you would. expect speakers to be from Bose. This is also remotely attached to a subwoofer and two other speakers for surround sound. This thing is amazing. I’m glad we invested in this nice piece of sound system. Highly recommended if you are a music buff. I travel and take this thing with me and blow sound up in the hotels and party areas. We love it.

Set up is easy with the Bose app, and paring the soundbar to a Sony Bravia TV via the included eARC cable was fairly straightforward. Sound quality is outstanding, especially when paired with the 700-series subwoofer.

Bought open box excellent and sound bar couldn't connect to the app. Called BestBuy team for help and they didn't even try to help. Customer support said that sound bar might not be rested by their team and not checked by the team. It was clearly told that BestBuy will check the product before sending which they never did. I could use it by using Bluetooth but couldn't connect the subwoofer as it is wireless subwoofer.

Great sound , easy set up . Definitely recommend getting a bass with it to make the whole experience come to life . Great acoustic by itself . Highly recommend to anyone whom wants to add a punch to any great entertainment experience.

Good sound quality but software is underwhelming and connection to subwoofer requires wired connection to avoid delay and cracking. Speaker volume needs to be installed to loud in order to truly appreciate experience which is annoying when you just want a little calm. Would've expected a better all around speaker experience from Bose.

Great sounding speaker overall you’ll be surprised with the amount of bass that comes from this unit without Any other speaker attached to it I can only imagine if you add the base modular how much nicer it would sound

The Bose Soundbar 700 speaker system is awesome but not without fault. The approach that bose made to have you build your setup a la cart is great, so you can match you needs without issue. Having the surrounds and the sub being wireless is also great, so you are not limited in where you put the speakers in your decor. the adaptiq room tuning is fantasic as the sytem will be tuned for your specific room and speaker placement. The short comings is the inability to add more than 2 rear surround and 2 subs at time of writing - for an atmos system several more speakers would be great to fill out the “3D” space. The other issue is my subs do drop when connected wirelessly and had to be connected wired so the sound is not jarring.

Great sound, immediately made a huge difference. Pricey, but worth it in my opinion

Sound quality is phenomenal! It does a great job of mimicking a full surround sound system, but for some reason it keeps failing to play - literally just won’t make a sound even though it’s turned on the app says it’s working. We have to unplug it to get it to start working again. It seems to happen about every 3 days. So annoying! It’d be 5 stars if it weren’t for that problem. Pros: great sound, slim profile (esp compared with the Sonos Arc), ability to add on extra speakers down the road, Alexa compatibility. Cons: high price, issue with functionality

I will tell you I love the Bose sound quality. I have had issues with it continuously staying synced to my TV. When it’s worming it is truly an amazing experience. Wishing I would have purchased the Samsung sound system I’m thinking that wouldn’t be dealing with the connectivity issue all the time. But will persistently figure out how to finally solve this problem.

I bought this for my husband's birthday and he loves it, well we love it. It sounds great and was so easy to set up.

The sound is incredible for a single sound bar. It makes it feel like deep surround sound. Easy to set up and operate.

Sony sound bar has great sound and when paired with the subwoofer and rear speakers give fantastic sound and the blue is nice

Awesome sound and pairs nicely with Bose 700 subwoofer. I still want to pick up the surround sound speakers for the full effect. Very easy to unbox, install, and set up in the room for optimal sound.

This was a surprise for Christmas. It's everything I thought it would be. Not too loud where the windows shake but loud enough to feel like I am in a theater and beyond. GREAT

Literally BLOWS away my old JBL 5.1. Started with this and the 500 sub, then added the more cost friendly cube surrounds. WOW WOW WOW. We've struggled so much with voice/conversation and the rollercoaster of up/down of audio. NOT ANY MORE. Extremely happy, Only two minor con. Sometimes between devices timing out (like paused netflix on Nvidia Shield) it can accidentally turn off. The tiny light only shows when it powers on, so you you to restart everything. And secondly there's sometimes a short pause of no audio when you pause and then play. Probably in my LG Nano TV settings, but we'll see. The audio quality blows any minor issues away!
