Great for listening to TV

I bought this to replace another soundbar because the vocal audio was difficult for me to understand at times. The bose does a better job of helping me understand what is being said on the TV. I did think it was a little odd that some settings can only be changed on the app (and not like the typical on screen menu). Otherwise than that quirk, I'm happy with the purchase.

Boss 900 Sound Bar

Great clear sound. Problems with sound bar connecting. Geek Squad came to my home several times to service the problem. The sound bar would connect for a short period of time, then the connecting problem would occur again. Exchanged the sound bar and had the same problem with the second Boss 900. Returned the second sound bar and the subwoofer. Then purchased a different brand of sound bar and subwoofer.

Once calibrated with included headband, the sound is crystal clear no matter where you sit. You don't have to crank it to feel the bass or hear the precise highs.

The base is sufficient, but I bought the 500 Sound bar through Bose Refurbished. Not decoding DTS isn't a deal breaker for me.

The Soundbar sound quality is very good even without a subwoofer. Setup is easy. Volume can be controlled by Apple TV remote.

Had some tech support issues, when this is first setup, it does a firmware update over wifi. It failed the update and i had reach out to bose. Once doing the update manually with them through a laptop everything worked great! With the Sub and the surround speakers you cant beat this!
