Passed on the 700 as it seemed way too simular. Hear the 900 at best buy , picked it up on sale . Love it paired woth the sub 700 and rear speakers . Major difference. Worththe price .

Lack's Bass. but you can ajust it to a good level.Looks great. Power on and off function is not always sinked to tv. This is all whitout the extras. just the soundbar alone. Hard to tell when its on and off,because of minimum lack of feed back on system.

Great sound

Overall I thought the Bose had a better sound in-store. After a really easy setup I have been enjoying it ever since. Only owned for a month, but no complaints thus far.

Not what I expected

I had compared it to the Samsung HW-Q65T that I'd purchased because I was looking for a fuller sound, which the Samsung couldn't fill-out in my big room. Bose, known to do "interesting" things to make "small" seem "big" was a logical choice. The Smart Bar is well made, worked as advertised, however, wasn't capable of providing a richer, fuller audio experience than the HW-Q65T...So the Bose went back as well. Again, everybody ears differently, every room has different acoustics, and everybody's idea if "that sounds great" is different. The Bose is a good unit, try it, and you might get exacrtly what you're looking for, and good quality as well.

Worth the money!

It's spectacular and powerful, to say the least. I built several home theater systems spending several thousand dollars and this single bar blows them all away

Over priced, software needs improvement.

I am using it my family room which is kind of open. I don’t feel it any better than my tv sound. I use LG nano TV btw. The bass module could add some quality sound to the setup. Again it’s very expensive compared to other competitors which provides sound bar and bass in a fraction of the price. The connection to the TV is flakey. Disconnects most of the time and doesn’t show the volume number while increasing or decreasing sound.

I'm sorry you feel that the soundbar does not improve the audio quality and for the connection issues that you've experienced.
Have you completed the ADAPTiQ calibration? This uses microphones to monitor the sound performance, and then adjust levels to ensure the full potential in sound quality is reached. If you have not, check out the guidance here - https://bose.life/3FZzPCV.

Bose soundbar

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave this soundbar 2 stars only because it is glitchy, you have to make your sound adjustments through a phone app and half of the time you have to manually go in and connect the soundbar to your tv, if it weren’t for this problem I would have easily given this soundbar a 5 star rating based on the phenomenal sound quality that Bose is known for.

Great buy!

I had the Bose 700 before. After hours of research I went with the 900. The only thing that was not upgraded was the remote. I loved the universal remote that came with the 700. Other than this, the 900 is a must have!

With 2 surround speakers Only thing I don't like is input from analog player. Everything has to be through TV. Terrible

Bose Soundbar 900

This Soundbar 900 never connected to the app, so I never got the full benefit out of it. Very often, when I turn the TV on, it doesn't connect, and I have to reset either the TV or the soundbar. The sound quality is great, but since I can connect it to the app, I can't change it to movie mode, etc. This soundbar has so much technology in it that it conflicts with itself. Do not recommend it to buy it, it's very complicated. Oh unfortunately I bought it open box maybe that's the problem. Bose was never to fix the problem. unfortunately, I Did not give it the attention that I should when it was still under warranty.
