    I was very excited to purchase this device and could by wait to get home and plug it in. Once I plugged it in and synced it to my living room Tv, it sounded amazing. The very next day, it disconnected itself. Now I have to reconnect the device ever single day or every time I turn on my television. It has become more of a hassle than it’s really worth..

    Appreciate the unit is new so no a lot of use to date, but I lobe it. It's quite impressive for its size and how much high-quality sound it puts out!

    I tried the Sonos Arc and the Sonos Beam but I returned both of them. Vocals are my priority and the Bose 900 soundbar has the best and the clearest vocals for sure. Sonos has more of a theater sound, but overall I like the sound on the Bose 900 better. The problem is that it won't stay connected!! It is SO FRUSTRATING! It was ok for a while, but over the last several months it's just gotten worse and worse. Sometimes it will reset itself if I pull it out from the wall and unplug it, but sometimes that doesn't work. Connecting music on my phone through Bluetooth is also pretty iffy. I've had this for nine months now so I guess I'm stuck with it. If I had to do it over again then I would definitely pick something else. I've tried everything on their website with little success. They even have some language on their site that says something like "sometimes electronic devices don't work well together" not an exact quote but that was the gist of it. My message to Bose is that if you can't make your soundbars work, and work reliably, then just quit selling soundbars!

    First and last time spending the money for a Bose product. The soundbar started out ok but for the past few days (it's 3 weeks old) it will just disconnect and has to be fully unplugged to get it to reset. Tonight it did it in the middle of a show just stop working. Would not connect to TV or phone. After 10 minutes it finally started working again.

    Amazing. Easy to set up with the 700 series sub. Best sound bar for the money. I would suggest talking to the associates about bad mouthing the product.

    Have owned for several months. Sound has been good overall. We have experienced some issues where it disconnects from the TV (Samsung from 2021). Typically just select the input again and all is well. Have had a few instances of where sound is dropping out periodically, Have had to reset on several occasions (unplug). That was until we get up one morning and the updating LED is coming up continuously. Let it run for hours and never completed. Unplugged for 3 hours and then put into recovery mode, would go back to updating and never complete. Speaker will not allow factory reset and will not go into service mode to manually update from PC. Bose has told me to ship it to them and they’ll get it back in 5 weeks…. Customer service has been horrendous. Chat agents not available for hours and SMS response came several hours later and then 30-60 minutes between responses. Then kept messaging overnight. Not what I expected. I’m going to ship it back as we spent the nearly $3k on the whole set, but would prefer to just move on at this point. I’ve seen a lot of posts with this same issue.

      Hi thank you for reaching out. I am glad you enjoy the sound of your soundbar. You mentioned that the audio would cut out when using your soundbar with the TV. Is it connect to the tv via HDMI ARC? If so, then I would recommend looking at adjusting the CEC options. CEC is how the soundbar communicates with the TV. As there is many TV brands out there, sometimes we need to change the CEC options for you to get the most out of your soundbar when connected to the tv.       I understand that your soundbar was stuck updating. It is possible that the soundbar was interrupted during updating which could be due to the soundbar being unplugged or disconnected from the internet. It is great to hear that you tried recovery mode to fix this. Once performing this and getting the green light blinking, it should be left for an additional 40 minutes.
