This review is for the 2nd unit. 1) Best Buy: I know / think your Geeksquad is swamped & have little time; but it will be best if you 'refurb' the items 100%. Meaning, do a 100% reset of the units you put back on the floor. I failed to do due diligence on resetting the unit & paid the penalty of tinkering around for about 30~45 minutes & wondering why it was not 'plug & play'. The soundbar was defaulting to the previous setup parameters & I was ready to give up. @Bose support: if you get tech support calls, check first if it is refurbed unit & if they have factory reset!!! 2) Bose Tech: The unit does not play nicely with LGSK9000 TV via ARC. It constantly loses ARC connection & very very frustrating. FWIW, it was GREAT connected to a LG soundbar; a Samsung soundbar. So .. it is dfntly not an issue with the TV. I have tried to: 1) remove ALL HDMI cables to the TV & had the Bose with ARC only. Still no love. 2) changed up the cables, no love. 3) reset the Bose to factory settings (twice), no love. 4) disable & enable CEC Simplilink on LG TV as well, no love. (ARC will not work without Simplilink enabled.) Optical cable works; but I lose the benefit of ATMOS, etc using this cable. Any support help would be appreciated.
