To tweak this, go to the Bose app, tap the "Settings" icon, scroll down to the "Power" section, and then select "HDMI Power and Audio". You can choose from several different options here. We bought this on sale for $800. I expected it to sound good since it's Bose, but it exceeded all expectations. In some ways it even sounds better than my surround sound system! Crystal clear voices, decent sound separation, and surprisingly good bass without a subwoofer. My wife loves it because there aren't wires everywhere and she doesn't have to do anything, it turns on and off with the tv. Plus it's a beauty - white and glass compliments our decor. Overall very impressed, and well worth the price.

I had to return one system because I kept having to unplug the sound bar and reset it when the audio went out.
