This high-end soundbar performs better than the larger, competitor’s brand it replaces. It’s low profile allows our TV remote to easily access the TV sensor without having to do contortions. The Bose 900 Soundbar comes in a corrugated outer box and a beautiful, purpose-built retail box. Accessories fit into a small area in the bottom of the purpose-built box, with no wasted packaging. Set up the Soundbar with the free Bose smartphone app. Pair the soundbar with your TV. Use the supplied headset to customize the sound profile to your room. Then use the smartphone app or the supplied remote to operate the soundbar. Pros: - Beautifully designed, with a tempered glass top, low profile, and shorter width than many soundbars. - Great sound with multiple speakers. - Woofer optional, though most people will not need it. - Ability to use AirPlay, Bluetooth, and WiFi connections. - Ability to stream music from several popular streaming services. - Ability to use the Bose Soundbar with Alexa and Google Home. Cons: - You must be tech-savvy to set up this equipment, and understand the difference between WiFi, Bluetooth, and AirPlay connections. The physical setup is not as difficult, but requires knowledge of different cables and connections available on your TV. - When you turn on the TV, the sound does not come on automatically. You must use the smartphone app or the supplied Bose remote to turn on the soundbar. - There is a delay for the sound to come on. All considered, this is an excellent device.
