    You ever fer excited about buying somwthing new that you were excited about hooking up only for it to be a piece of junk. Well look no further Bose has done that with this town bar. It will absolutely not connect to the app to even be set up. What happened to the good old days of just being able to plug in your cable and listen to your music and watch tv bose has taken that away. App wont connedt to my $800 soundbar so it will not work at all. Highly reccomend bo purchasing

    Horrible do not buy, always having issues, repair takes two months, if you google/Reddit problems with this system that costs over 2k you will see So many people having the same issues really bad product.

    DO NOT waste your money in this soundbar. I got it home and setup. Plugged it in for the first time and did the initial setup. Then came the update. Tje bar got stuck in a never ending update status. It can not be reset, factory reset or any other advice from texh support (after they blame you and your internet of course). After doing dome research this apparently is a major and common issue that ends uo resultimg in the consumer having to send the soundbar to Bose for repair. Repair on a brand new product?! Really?! I am extreme disappointed in this product from Bose that is "supposed" to be high quality.

    Sound is phenomenal but the user interface is frustrating. The status light has 20 different patterns that you have to interpret. There’s a website that defines what each pattern means but sometimes it doesn’t indicate what to do about it. You depend on your smartphone being able to connect to the bar to configure it. Troubleshooting issues is a guessing game and I’ve already spent more Friday nights than I’d like to repeatedly unplugging and plugging things because an accessory speaker isn’t emitting sound or some other issue. Eventually things magically work and the system sounds excellent but I don’t think it’s worth fidgeting with.

    Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. It randomly stops working. I have it hooked up with both HDMI and optical cords. I have to completely unhook everything and hard reboot once a week. It started doing this after only having it 3 weeks.

      It's surprising that you're having trouble with it not working correctly. When using the system, please only have either the HDMI or Optical plugged in at one time. Having both can lead to output confusion on the TV, as it may not be sure with connection to output sound from.

    Don’t buy this sound bar if you have Sony TV bcuz it’s not working properly especially volume button in Sony TV remot and some time this sound bar on and some it’s not turn it on when you turn on the Tv.
