I love this speaker. I cant believe the sound that comes out of it. It is so clear and crisp. The bass is absolutely incredible. Can't go wrong with buying this speaker. It has a small screen which displays what you are playing. The google assitant and and Alexa options take this speaker to another level. It is not portable, but more powerful!!!

The Bose - Smart Speaker 500 is a nice addition to my living room, its work great on WiFi and Bluetooth, the App is very easy to use and the sound is great. On the little screen will show the singer, cover of the album or song as playing. And you can add as many smart speaker even other models to your home and be managed individually or all together. Nice product

This is my second Bose speaker, I also own the Revolve + which I love to take camping with me. I bought the 500 for something to play music in my bedroom. The sound literally fills the room and as a lover of reggae and dancehall music, I appreciate the richness of the bass. So worth the price, though set up can be a little complicated.

This fantastic, compact Bluetooth speaker has the famous Bose sound -- and for a small unit, it pushes a lot of air. The bass is surprisingly good, too. I use it for Spotify, news radio, and podcasts and couldn't ask for a better device. The Alexa personal assistant is a fun addition, and I use it all the time. She thinks I'm "magnificent."

I purchased this for my kid’s office since we are homeschooling. We use it to listen to the teacher during regular class hours, but we also use it to hear music, etc. Sound is very clear and it’s compatibility is great. You can use different apps and it’s very easy to use. A must buy!

I have several Alexa's and even an Echo Show. I wanted something for the bathroom with higher output and clarity as I shower and get ready in the mornings. I could have used an Alexa standard, but I use those for home automation and in places that have less noise. This things sounds amazing, you can tell they concentrate on sound quality here. It has a great range for the size of the unit and it's not over the top in cost. The downsize is, my Echo Show sounds ..almost..not quite close, but close enough to wonder why I bought it. The Echo show also shows me my recipe videos and plays my youtube channels, that along with weather reports and connecting with my fireplace, projector scree and Ring doorbell are what make it better. But, I got this for sound and volume output, so it hit the boxes I wanted for a noisy bathroom, or simply soaking in the tub. If you want superb sound and don't care for home automation, get this.

I have smaller Bose speakers to use with my tablet or cell phone. I LOVE LOVE this speaker. The sound quality will blow you away considering the size. It also has Alexa so at any time you call to her and she will answer:)! I tested this speaker by going outside I could still hear it. The sound is like theatre quality. I would definitely recommend!

I have this in my basement gym sounds incredible bass is deep and clear if you download the Bose app you can adjust the bass and treble seriously thinking about getting another one and pairing them up but one is really loud.

This speaker provides great sound for such a small package. But the Bose app is not up to par with the Sonos app. I compared this Bose speaker side by side with a Sonos One, in my own home with my music. While I generally prefer Bose sound over any other speakers I have listened to, I thought the Sonos sound was comparable, but not quite as smooth and full to my ear. If I was judging strictly on sound quality I would probably still go with the Bose speaker. But when you compare the function and features of the Sonos app compared to the Bose app for WiFi speakers, Sonos wins hands down. The Bose 500 display screen is a nice feature, but not enough to swing me to it over the Sonos One.

This speaker has good sound and is beautiful to look at, especially when the display is showing album artwork and artist info. However, my speaker shuts off by itself and has to be reset frequently. Alexa sometimes don't understand what I'm saying. In addition, Alexa's adaptive volume can't be enabled on this speaker. The album artwork from my personal playlist won't show on the speaker's display as it does with radio stations like Pandora.

First off let me say the quality of the speaker both sonically and the build quality are what we all come to expect from bose. The body is aluminum and it looks awesome in the triple black. Being that i already have a lot of smart products in my home I would go with this speaker to further take control of my everyday appliances. Sometimes the function doesn’t always work the way it should and the display at the front is creative but looks dated compared to the screens were now use to. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because it sounds amazing you can even add treble or bass and make your own sound similar to jaybird but the price is very high and considering the screen is predated i gave it 4 stars. Overall solid pickup if it’s on sale or you have extra income at your disposal.

This Bose - Home Speaker 500 Wireless Smart Speaker is a great sounding speaker. The speaker is a great additions to my office. It fills my office with great sound. Whether it be Youtube Videos, Netflix Movies, Music from my computer, or Listening to the Pandora or Spotify. This Bose - Home Speaker 500 Wireless Smart Speaker is a full featured product. I connected this speaker via Bluetooth to my desktop. So there is no wires to plug in. Set up is a breeze. Less than 5 minutes I was and running. There is a Bose Music app that makes setup very simple. Whether you listen to music off a music service or link you laptop, tablet, or phone this Bose - Home Speaker 500 Wireless Smart Speaker is very versatile for your needs.

HUGH sound and clarity with this speaker. I love the Bass and informational screen as songs/albums are playing. Just say ALEXA, play ???? and it plays. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

I now have four of these throughout my house and, obviously, love them. The Bose Music app is top notch and puts all of your favorite music outlets at your fingertips. Alexa is a nice bonus even though I prefer to use the app to control the unit and not voice control. One thing I've noticed, since I have them all over the house, it is difficult to use voice commands as they all answer to "Alexa" and you can't change each units name. I tried doing this in the Bose App and the Alexa app and they don't give the option to change my Bose products' names. Hopefully, this will be addressed in the future. I prefer to use the app, anyway, so this isn't a big deal for me. I definitely recommend the Bose Home Speaker 500!

Was looking for something that provided house sound plus hooked up easily via Bluetooth with my Peloton bike. Does NOT disappoint in any way, shape or form. I went with silver for a more neutral color and am in process of purchasing another very soon. Bose app is super easy and this speaker couldn’t be easier for those looking for plug and play installation. Alexa feature is cool and I like the vivid color display on the front of the speaker. We LOVE this!

Sound quality is clear and crisp , and the design of speaker so wisely created for the surround music experience and Alexa integration is a plus. Only drawback is it plays only when plugged in.

Excellent speaker for the kitchen. We replaced an old oversized stereo in our kitchen with this Bose speaker that is a fraction of the size. The sound this puts out is amazing. The base is of course not as deep as our larger stereo but the counter space saved and the better mid to high clarity more then makes up for it. We use it with Alexa to play Amazon music and it works very well. The only downside is that it does not work with some of the echo only features such as multi-room play and this speaker will often respond to an Alexa command you give to an echo device in another room if it is able to hear you.

I am very very impressed with the sound quality and volume. The 500 plays loud without any distortion and you can adjust highs and lows with the Bose app. Imagine grouping 3 Echos in one spot that's how powerful the sound is. The microphone's will pick up your voice commands even at high volume. The only thing that is really missing is an off button on the unit itself. Instead you have to use the Bose app to put it in standby or tell Alexa "off" which will turn the music off but it takes another 15 minutes before the display shuts off. I highly recommend the Bose 500 speaker.

Very easy to set up and use. Many functions that I loved, especially the display which shows artist album cover art. Clear, crisp sound as you would expect from Bose but not enough bass so I sadly returned it.
