Looked at Sonos and other wireless speakers and due to past great experiences with Bose wireless speakers decided to upgrade. Pleasantly surprised at the sound quality and “room-filling” capability and ease of adding other Bose wireless speakers to the network. Having Alexa was a bonus for streaming Sirius XM.

I purchased the Bose Home Speaker 500 a few weeks back and can't be happier. This replaced an older Bose speaker that was no longer supported and would not connect to my home WiFi network anymore. Given the reduced price, $100 off the original list price, it was worth the money. The sound quality is great and it fills the room very well (we have a great room format and the speaker is in the corner). It's connection to the WiFi is much more reliable than the previous speaker and I like the integration with SiriusXM. I don't use Alexa or other assistant features and this was easy to turn off (stopping Google snooping). I agree with other reviewers that the display window is rather useless, but I do like it's time display when it's not playing music. Set-up was very easy (once I figured out I can't give it the same name as another ApplePlay device) and I find the App okay but not great. I especially like the fact that I don't have to hook it up to my computer to get software updates. All in all I would highly recommend the speaker.

Bose knocked it out of the park with this smart speaker. I use it in the kitchen for music while cooking. It pairs with my Bose soundbar in the adjacent family room and the two rooms are filled with beautiful sound. Set-up took all of five minutes. I listen to mainly classical music which this speaker delivers with clarity and richness. I can't speak for how it would sound with country, RB, rock, etc. A pricey item for sure, but for me it brings additional color and warmth while in the kitchen.

This small speaker sounds so clear and powerful! Love the voice command feature and screen that shows album covers. No problems setting up.

Awesome speaker! I needed a Bluetooth speaker that was small enough to fit into my living room space. Naturally, I also wanted the best bang for my buck. I think the sound on this speaker is fantastic! Best of all, it easily connects to my vinyl record player and my iPad.

I purchased this to complement my Bose soundbar and bass. Using the app to sync for music on both units vs. sound for tv only is still a tad clunky. And I'm unclear about who's in charge, me or Alexa, when using voice commands. But the sound is great, and it's an attractive, unobtrusive, component.

Very easy to set up and snyc with Amazon and Alexa, Took about 5 minutes and could not have been easier. The quality of the music is superb for my apartment whether soft or loud. It is everything I hoped for and more,

This little speaker has all the qualities of a surround system without the cords. I never knew that you could be able to pack such sound quality in so little device. The pairing with Alexa was simple. This purchase represents a home run, and the price was very affordable for what it offers.

Have it in the master bedroom and it is a fairly good soze and fill the room the room with ease. Great bass and clear audio for any type of sound.

Wonderful sound and connectivity to my Apply devices via AirPlay. Very easy to set up and connect. Works great with whole home play via AirPlay too.

I love this speaker. It is one of Bose best sounding speakers! It works great with Google commands which is why I purchased it. This is a nice sturdy speaker and controls everything lights, thermostat, calendar, etc.. all by saying "Hey Google"

I am a BOSE loyal customer for 30 years, I just switched from the SoundTouch system to the Smart Speakers, Soundbar 900 and Bose Bass 700. Wow, even with these old ears I love the improvement of the total sound immersion! We have speakers throughout the home and have many guests/parties. Love the continuity with Spotify and Pandora for a whole house experience! Superior quality and great style!! A friend was here who has Sonos and begrudgingly said BOSE sound is much better. Enough Said.

These speakers sound surprisingly good for their size… atleast to our old ears. Leaving treble flat and boosting the bass 30% is the sweet spot for us … listening to jazz and acoustic pop.

This has been my favorite Bose speaker and I have had the Bose sound bar, Bose sound link, and a pair of Bose q35. If you want a speaker for music in your home this device has amazing clarity and just enough bass to make you feel like you’re listening live. Highly recommend!

the price is a little more than all the others , but it's worth it. the quality of sound and level of volume is the best , unless compared to studio equipment but even then damm close to perfection I highly recommend this product and brand .

We have always wanted to own a Bose. This purchase was a split decision and we do not regret it at all. The sound quality is amazing. You can control the volume by saying Alexa turn up the volume or you can do it do it from the speaker. You can have it control your smart devices in your house. You can also program it to play your favorite stations. It also hooks up to your tv through blue tooth. The only problem I have with it, is that it seems to disconnect alot when I am trying to tell it to do something....that awful orange light will flash. Other than that we love this Bose and plan on buying more Bose products.

We bought this as an open box item. Someone had returned it and we cannot figure out why. It was in perfect condition and it is the absolute best speaker purchase we have ever made. We’ve had it almost a year and the sound is unmatched. We are slowly collecting Bose speakers for a whole house system and this is the perfect addition. It is amazing. Who knew that kind of sound could come out of something that small?

This thing is awesome! Bose sound and such a smooth looking unit. My favorite is that it's hooked up to my other alexa enabled speakers so the sound in the house is amazing. At this price it's the best Bluetooth speaker by far.

I bought this got my 19 year old son for his room. What a great sounding speaker. It sounds amazing for the size, has great features and he was able to connect via Bluetooth and use the included Built in Google app. He loves it!
