    Bose makes some wonderful sounding speakers and headphones, and the Home 500 is no exception. Pros -The speaker sounds great. It can get very loud and fills a room. It has nice bass and doesn’t distort at high volume. -Build quality is nice. The body is aluminum and should last for a while. The whole speaker has a nice weight to it. -Alexa support built in. Can be set-up to control home devices. -WiFi support. No need to be connected to Bluetooth if you use a streaming service that can connect directly to the internet. Cons -It was a little difficult to set up, even getting an error right out of the box. -Not enough online streaming services included (no Apple or Google Music). -A few bugs navigating the app. Overall, the Bose 500 is a great speaker. Something that I am looking forward to is AirPlay 2 support so that I can have whole home sound with this Bose and my HomePod. If you are in the market for a speaker for a living space, then this would be a great purchase.

    Good sound. I still can’t connect it using the bose app but I don’t feel the need to do it anyway. I listed to music in youtube and I connect it to my phone with bluetooth and works perfectly

    We just set this up today but it sounds awesome and is just what we wanted. My daughter had an old Bose that was great but starting to have a few issues. She was so happy to get this replacement!

    Sound quality is okay. Not going to get much bass from this device. Much smaller than pre ious versions of this product. I actually like my older one better. Doesn’t blow me away like most Bose products do. Nice, new app for this device is much better than old versions.

    My family always had Bose speakers. So I love then brand also. I had some difficulty at first when setting it up with my phone. But after you get it to sink with your phone its a breeze.
