Great product, Safe product and great price ok ok ok

OMG, i love that speaker i replace mine for this one.

What did I pay $300 for? Oh my oh my this was a mistake. For being $300, I expected pretty good amount of bass and pretty good amount of clarity but I was really wrong! I set this thing up and was shocked at what I heard. The bass was horrible and the clarity was alright. For being bose, I was shocked at the way this thing sounded. The $200 Amazon echo studio sounds way and I mean way better than this thing. Both bass and clarity are way better on the Amazon echo studio. This was a very big letdown for being bose and very disappointing. I definitely will be returning this.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Makes it not worth it!! LOVE THE SPEAKER! I am not tech savy... brought it down to show me what was going wrong ... why I could not connect it to MY phone. All the guy wanted to do was embarrass me to the other customers... trying to show hiw intelligent HE WAS... wellDuh...I wouldnt have been standing there if I hadn't already known that fact! HE . kept loudly saying I' ll bet you I can connect my phone ... because i thought there might be something wrong with it because i could bluetooth to my other items.... so he kept focusing on that and after he connected his phone ... told me i would have to pay membership .... for their services if i wanted their help to figure out what was wrong... I didnt understand I had named it... it was that simple... simple to explain... and yet he was only interested in proving there was something wrong with me ... which i readily had already admited to by saying I didnot understand what i might be doing wrong ...because "I was not tech savvy!... wow very errogant! Cant wait til they experience older age ... but there again, I cant even imagine the what the attitudes of people will be like then, if they are this bad now!!!

The sound wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be. I compared the sound to my $100 echo and it was the same. I thought paying $375 was way too much money to pay for this product so I just returned it.

It has been a year since i bought this and paired with Google Assistant. I must say this has the greatest sound quality ever i have ever listened. Amazing happy customer!

i Wish the artist voice was crisper, not so muffled.

Bose music system, quality always delivers the best music. It’s well made and looks good. We have enjoyed listening to our favorite songs every day.

I just dont like that i cant schdule appointments or reminders

Good sound but Alexa is not working in Puerto Rico

The sound quality is nice. However, the speaker struggles mightily to connect to wifi and any slight switch in the network and you have to completely factory reset the speaker to reconnect with the app. In case anyone is wondering about the wifi signal, I have a two ASUS routers and a mesh system to ensure full home coverage. To also verify, every other device in the same area has zero connectivity issues. Overall, poor choice for a home speaker. At the price point, and smart capabilities, there are much better options.

I like Bose products in general and this one is great. I can use alexa or bluetooth to play songs and sound quality is exceptional. Use it in my bathroom and love it.

Well let me start off by saying I had purchased a Sony xg300 that was defective (Bluetooth wouldn't connect properly and speaker would crackle then go off) so I drove to best buy and exchanged for this smart speaker 500 opened it up when I got home set it up started playing music to just test it since it was going to be my work speaker,once I turned the volume to 60% this annoying buzz/crack started coming from the left speaker (if looking directly at the screen) any time any bass was in any song it just made this horrible sound. I contacted Bose and chatted cause I had read quite a few 1 star reviews stating the exact issue I was experiencing. Should have stuck with my gut feeling and gotten the Sonos era 100 like I wanted but I figured Bose had fixed the issue for new devices. Guess I was wrong so if you listen to ANY music with good bass (90s 00s Rap use caution cause you may have this issue) now returning this and getting the Sonos era 100. Hope this review helps. Also Bose customer support was very good and helpful but at the end of our chat I was advised to just return back to best buy

Low sound quality compare with other brands in the same category. I returned to the store due the fact that voice assistants not working in my region and the sound quality didn’t fit my needs and expectations .

Bose is known for its sound but this sometimes take more than usual amount of time to connect. Apart from that it is a good product.

Don't bother. The sound is great, the bluetooth is trash. Even hardwired in, it failed after 6 months. Bose quality has really gone downhill in the last few years, and I am extremely disappointed - especially for the money they charge.

Really convenient combining the voice commands of Alexa/Google Assistant with the sound of Bose. Rich, pure sound that fills the room on command.

The Bose-Home speaker 500 sounds great but unfortunately when you play music using Alexa commands the music stops playing after a few seconds and then the music comes and goes and it happens with spotify and pandora. I spent an hour with technical support without success. according to the reviews a lot of people are having the same problem but the weird thing is that a lot of other people are not. so I returned it after 2 days of annoying issues of music always skipping or not playing at all.
