However, so far I am disappointed. The sound bar goes through REALLY long updates (20 minutes or so), frequently. We have had thr system for about a month and it has done these updates 3 seperate times. Sometimes, the updates get stuck- so you have to unplug everything to reset the system and try again. It is frustrating and i am contemplating returning the whole system. Aside from the updates, the sound is clear from the soundbar. The base system is a different story but thays not whay i am reviewing right now.

It ain't exactly cheap, but neither are its competitors. Andrew Robinson on YouTube does a very good review of this Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar, it is worth a look.

Certainly the fact that was on sale helped! Also the unit is really easy to setup and looks great in my living room!!

This in combination would the complete set makes you feel like you are in the movie. The soundbar itself is pretty great too.

Both me and my wife have hearing issues and wear hearing aids. For the first time it is no longer an issue listening to a show with heavily accented voices. Such a pleasure not to have to use the close captioning option. What a relief and joy.

The soundbar does not turn on and off with my tv. It is annoying. I think for the 2000 price range I would go with something else.

Posted .Hi there, thank you for your feedback! Please note that Alexa is a third-party app associated with Bose. Customization of Alexa features cannot be done through the Bose app.
Regarding the power switch on your soundbar, even if it’s connected to your TV, they operate with separate remotes. As a result, they won’t turn on or off simultaneously.
