Best soundbar I’ve bought

Good soundbar but needs bass

Not up to the Bose standard

I talked with salesperson and ended up with the Bose Smart Ultra soundbar and the Bose 500 sub. Both were on sale at a great price and not much more money than the Arc Ultra by itself. Hooked everything up and it sounded great. Streaming music, movies, regular TV, it all sounded good. The problem with it is I had to do a hard reset on the soundbar multiple times after it had been off for a while like overnight. The sub would come up and I'd have sound from it but nothing from the soundbar. I searched the internet and found it is a common issue with this soundbar. I returned it and got the Sonos Arc Ultra. No problems with it so far.

A lack of audio from the soundbar can have various causes, and isn't necessarily an indicator that the soundbar is faulty. This soundbar does not sound well without the other surround sound speakers and subwoofer. I thought this is enough to add to my tv, but I was wrong. I am a little disappointed because I must buy the other speakers to make the sound in my tv so much better.

Connectivity is lackluster

Spoke with several people from tech support and they had to replace our unit. The new unit works, but still has connectivity issues. Everything is connected correctly and we have ample wifi for the unit. With the price it shouldn't have this many issues.
