Please ignore all the other reviews that are below five stars. I just bought this today and I am incredibly happy and would highly recommend it. Also always buy a geek squad protection plan because anything you don't like you can easily return. I know it sounds like I am an employee of Bose or Best Buy and I assure you I am not I am just a years long happy customer of Best Buy. First time reviewer and first time Bose customer.

The Solo 15 Series II is a space saving audio and dialogue enhancing device that is a great alternative to multi-speaker and sound bar solutions. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: --Saves space as a TV mounting platform. --Excellent dialogue clarity even before engaging the dialogue mode. --One cable connection via the optical output on your TV. --Good Bluetooth performance. --Separate bass control. --Powerful, tight bass performance when reproducing over-the-air TV audio. --One optical digital, one coax digital and one analog audio input. --Universal remote. --Optical cable supplied. --Excellent horizontal soundstage/treble distribution. Good vertical treble distribution as well. Cons: --No numerical display for bass or volume. --Could use another analog input for those who like using legacy equipment. --The remote could use a rubber bottom section or feet to keep it from sliding on wood and glass. --Mediocre bass from sources other than over-the-air TV audio. I believe Bose engineers are on to something very special with this product. If they can figure out a way to get audio from DVD's and CD's to have the same impact as antenna derived TV audio, this easily becomes a 5 star product, especially at this price point.

We purchased this about 6 months ago and have happy with it for the most part. We have an Xbox1 and when we turn on the Xbox it turns on our TV and Bose speaker. Recently when we turn on the Xbox everything turns on except the Bose speaker. Even the remote for the Bose speaker will not turn on the speaker we literally have to unplug the speak and then plug it back in to get it to turn on! We love the sound but wish the wiring or whatever the problem is was better.

Sound is mind blowing, however the bass could have been little better. Bit costly but worth every money.

I was skeptical because it's really hard to tell how a speaker will sound at home from what you hear at the store. I was tempted to be cheap but I'm so glad I decided to buy this speaker. The sound quality is bar far the best I've heard, even from home theater systems with multiple speakers and subwoofer. I will never go back.

Bought this to replace a sony soundbar that i was very dissatisfied with and returned. It sounds great and fits perfectly under my sony tv with center stand. It has plenty of volume and decent sounding bass for having no standalone sub.

We decided to spend a bit more than planned and I'm glad we did! Excellent sound and base. Love every Bose product I've ever purchased.

So I got this 50 inches sony TV and found that the sound it produces is very poor which is understandable given its compact design. This sound bar is of very good quality and has a premium look that Bose provide as always. It added bluetooth support which is a very useful upgrade from its predecessor. One more thing about the remote coming with the bar: I ditched the TV remote immediately when I saw this function-packed, well-designed, and well made remote.

This is nice sound system for TV, I have put 32" LED TV over the speakers itself. Sound is so much better than TV default speakers. I didn't expect this much difference in sound quality. movies and music is so much better now. Usually we don't pay this much attention to sound quality and look for picture quality only in TV. Once you get this speakers, you will notice the difference a sound system can make to TV experience

Sound is crystal clear. So much better than our old Samsung sound bar. We do have a large curved TV, and placing the unit is a little harder than a sound bar because it is bigger. make sure you have some space. However, no subwoofer to contend with and amazing sound. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

The sound is awesome. I also have other sound bars from Sony and Samsung. Comparing them to this one, they are nothing.

I bought this to upgrade from my lower end Samsung sound bar. I mean, it's made by Bose and it's twice the price of the Samsung, so it's got to be better, right? Wrong. In fact, it sounds worse than the TV speakers. I returned it the following day.

The base on this unit was nothing I was expecting coming from the Bose brand. Tested with music and movies. Returning it after only listening to it for 10min
