Thank you for sharing your experience with the Soundbar 500. Just to clarify some information, you should not need to reset the system in order to add an optional bass module. Please see the instructions here - https://bose.life/2QORljx. However, we would recommend running ADAPTiQ again after adding the bass module - https://bose.life/2F6Fzxs.
