This is a MUST buy bose sound system. I went with the smaller one release right before this one and it didnt sound even close as good. I return it and got this one and I LOVE IT!

I was looking for both a sound bar and Alexa combination. This sound bar has been fantastic. The sound quality is amazing and I have the flexibility of using Alexa or the Bose app when selecting options.

The Soundbar 500 has 3 speakers inside it and gives excellent quality and Bose keeps up its name on this Soundbar. The price is on the higher side but it is all worth it for the sound quality!!

Got this product to upgrade from a Bose Solo 5, also a good product, and be able to add a subwoofer. Very easy setup and integration. Sound is wonderful, and with the Bass module adds to the movie experience.

Bought this sound bar after listening to the large selection of sound bars at my local Best Buy. The sound on this product was so superior that there was no other choice as far as I was concerned. Got the product home, and started the "simple setup" process. BE WARNED! Not so simple. It got to step 3 and went into a firm ware update that never seemed to end. I finally go around this process by rebooting my iphone twice: Once for the firm ware download, and once for the firm ware install. It took hours to complete. In fact, overnight. Once everything was installed the sound is terrific! I recommend the sound bar but do be aware that you may have some problems during installation.

The soundbar alone sound alright. Definitely needs the subwoofer to get that theater-like sound. You may have to pair it with a set of surround-sound speaker to get that full surround-sound experience. It took an hour or 2 to set-up since it's all done via their app. Goodbye to the days of using a paper manual to set up home theaters. Understand that this is NOT a Soundtouch piece of equipment. So the Bose Soundtouch app will not work, meaning you won't be able to use the app to listen to local music or Bose selected genre channels. Overall, i would recommend this for a bedroom or a secondary. This would work best in a Dorm room or apartment, but not as your primary home theater for entertaining in a large room.

Clear sound, easy set up to tv including using your tv remote to turn the volume up and down and the build in Alexa is great for our spontaneous living room dance parties

sound quality is good but there is no option on the remote for reducing the bass (like night mode), so every time you want to change bass intensity it has to be done from the app

This soundbar is just right for my new TV. The sound is clear and accurate and even better because I added the 500 Sub also by BOSE. You can talk to Alexa a day long and never get a wrong answer!

The sound quality is very good and the app works fine. The only problem is that it sometimes have trouble to connect to Tv and requires some effort to establish the connection

We purchased this for main tv and we love it. We needed to replace an old surround sound and so glad we went with the Bose. Easy set up and great sound!

Quality of sound very fine and much better than a Polk sound bar system I purchased and returned because of issues and quality of sound. Wish the prices were a little less expensive.

The sound bar has great quality. It is almost too much for our large living room, but I am glad I got it. You will love watching movies with this thing. It is so good that, when there is an explosion or a car chase in the movie, we have to turn it down right away because it gets so loud. I would buy this thing again for sure. I wish I could say the same thing with Geek Squad. They took over a month to come and install this thing. I would do it yourself, if you are able to do it, or find someone who can come and install it right away.

Yes, Bose is expensive, but the sound is amazing. I have not tired the 700 or the smaller speaker, but this one works great. Not even sure you really need the sub.

We replaced an older, larger Yamaha unit with this one. First, love the size - so much more streamlined (to be fair, the current Yamaha version is smaller now also). We have switched to Bose for home stereo sound for the most part, and like the apps Bose provides for controls as well. For what we watch and how we watch at home, this unit has plenty enough power. We do not use the Alexa features, though (don't like the idea of something listening to everything we say), so cannot review that part of the tech.

I love this soundbar ! It was a great addition to our living room. Love how it is linked with alexia and it has such a clear sound. Highly recommend

I’ve never been a fan of sound bars due to the lack of customization and absence of true surround sound. I saw and heard the Soundbar 500 and was blown away but still hesitant because I wanted more. When I realized that this could be paired with matching subwoofer and wireless rear speakers for surround sound, I was sold. Great sound, easy set-up, voice control, ability to use it in various home automations, and many ways to expand the system. It’s not for everybody, but it provides great sound out of the box and the flexibility of the system sets this one apart from most similar products on the market.

Unbelievable sound quality, you expect from Bose. Very easily set up and paired with subwoofer and surround sound speakers, all bought together.

Love the sound bar. I have a samsung QLED TV with the TV and the sound bar watching movie feels like I am in a theatre. Awesome speakers and very easy setup.

All around great sound. A little difficulty connecting the soundbar to the Bose App, but figured it out after messing with it for an hour
