    This soundbar is excellent quality literally the best we have ever owned. I can't imagine going back to not having one as it has really given us a quality theater experience that we didnt reslize we were missing put on pripr to owning this product. The setup was a little tricky at first but quickly fixed. I absolutely love it and will continue to purchase these high quality soundbars for my home.

    First off, I am a fan of Bose. I recently decided to upgrade my old Acoustimass 6 III surround system and go with the 500 soundbar. I like the sleek design and easy connections. That is where the positives for me stop. I had to download the Bose app which NEVER EVER EVER recognizes the speaker even tho it is clearly playing with the TV. I am also not a fan of no LED display to let you know where you are at in volume or mode on the soundbar, you have to look at the app to see where you are at. So, you need a bare minimum remote and an app to control the bar. I think this is way overpriced for not much more improved sound from my TV's own speakers. I will be returning this when the rain stops.

    Amazing sound but the setup took me probably twelve hours still haven’t finished cause it’s one in the morning and I think the next parts loud

    Failed within 3 years

    This soundbar stopped updating and failed within 3 years and only has a 1 year warranty. I wouldn't recommend it.

    Not good if you have a Samsung TV

    i tried to use with samsung tv. It's getting connected using a optical cable, but not with a hdmi cable. Not sure why? I tried several ways with no success. It's gets connected through bluetooth but you notice a audio lag. I returned i

      Hello VKS1233,

      Thanks for providing your review of the Soundbar 500. We're sorry you're having difficulty connecting to your TV using the HDMI option. An HDMI input must have ARC (Audio Return Channel) functionality in order for the TV to send its audio to the soundbar. Otherwise, please use the optical cable to connect the TV to the soundbar.

    Total disappointment

    I’m an avid Bose fanatic but I gotta be honest that I was totally disappointed with this one. My old Vizio soundbar outperformed this in so many aspects.
