It's a bracket, however, because the sound bar was the new version we had to reorder the bracket because the screws to hold it were proprietary, and specific to the new bar.

The template is useless with Bose 600 Soundbar. Ridiculous for Bose to Engineer a great soundbar and then contract with some offbrand company to make the mounting kit. You can make your own for <$5 by going to Lowes and purchasing small brackets.

The mounts are sold separately and I found it out the hard way. Along with very cheap screws and no direction to where best height or location best suits the product it holds. Disappointed to get mediocre quality from such a high end price point and name.
