The strength and reception of Bluetooth-enable devices can vary based on its position and close proximity to other objects. For instance, the human body can interfere/obstruct the Bluetooth signal when the phone is that close to it. Physical objects can sometime impede wireless signals including Bluetooth. Moving the device so there is a clear line of sight may improve performance. If the connected device has a variable audio output, adjust the volume level to 80 percent of its maximum. This typically sends a strong signal without distortion. If there is a volume-limiting feature, be sure it is turned off. With both of these issues, it is important to try more than one Bluetooth audio device to compare results. If these things persists on a second device, give us a ring and we'll explore this further. The JBL did have 2 speakers so it was stereo. The bose has a much better solid sound and deeper bass but it only has one speaker so I think it is mono. I really love stereo but the sound that the bose produces is so much better that it still is better to take on trips, and it is a nice size for the old suitcase.

I bought it over a year ago and it is still kickin strong. I bought it to use with my laptop to use when i was working and listening to music. I also used it on my commute back in forth to work in my car. Im a truck driver now and our company rigs are old and loud and the radios dont work in them. This is not a problem with this speaker just pair it to my phone set it in the dash and we are good to go. Like i said i bought it over a year ago and i dont see it stopping anytime soon. Aa far as durability goes i dropped it by accident the other day. It didn't even miss a beat or loose connection except for the little scratch on it now its fine. Bwry very well made. All in all a great speaker for your money you gey what you paod for and its a BOSE

The volume level impressed me and the sound clarity is not bad at all. I liked the fact that this device can be connected by bluetooth or auxiliary. This is a great device to take with you on the go or even for the home.
