I bought this BOSE product almost 1.5 months back, and must say it is the best product every. Its small, light weight and goes with my Iphone and Ipad very easily. So light to carry, and sound quality is awesome. I cant live without it now even for a single day, and I listen on it every day now.

This Bose SoundLink speaker is the best bluetooth speaker I've ever heard. We purchased both this and the JBL Charge at the same time, and this one sounds better and is easier to use than the Charge. Very easy to connect your device, wonderful bass, just terrific all the way around.

I thought it would have a better sound and maybe louder for the price of $129.00 + tax

I returned it. Highs were nonexistent. Not even water resistant. Pretty much on a par with my old cell phone's speaker. Not what I expected from Bose. If you want the Bose name and care about your music, you'll have to spend twice as much for decent sound.

I love this speaker for a number of reasons: 1) Love the color - I got blue. 2) It's small enough to pick up and put in my purse and bring with me wherever I go - everyone I see likes it a lot; 3) The sound is really fantastic - clear, perfect 4) Price point is very good

This speaker is fine. I would be really unhappy had I paid full price

In store sounded better may be was hooked up to other means.

One thing about it doesn't stay change to long play one hour

It was a Christmas present and stopped working after 2 days of use.

I bought this from Bestbuy on impulse while Christmas shopping. Being a musician, I'm very picky about sound quality. More so, I'm a bass player, so a speaker must have a good bottom. I had a Jambox mini that crapped out after a little more than a year, and wanted a portable Bluetooth speaker for my phone and tablet. I listened to the new Jambox, the Logitech UE, the Pill, and the comparably priced JBL. They all sounded tinny compared to the Bose - even when compared to much larger, more expensive units. I just found the depth of sound in this Base baby to be far superior in the highs, midrange, and the ever important bass. It was good looking and very portable. Why did I ever look (and listen to) at anything other than Bose?

Clarity is 5 stars. Loudness is 5 stars. Durability is 5 stars. Buttons are easy and also durable. Very amazing all around. First time bose owner and I am absolutely sold on their name brand product. Easily recommended to all friends.

Unexpectedly disappointed as this is a Bose product.

The speaker easily connected to blue tooth devices. It sounds great. The packaging says the battery will run up to 8 hours - so far, on my first use, it's up to 18 or so hours. Impressive. Price tag is very affordable too.

I have tried different other brands and returned them as the sound gets muddier when the volume is increased. I just wanted to give this a try thinking that I might return this too! But I was blown away by the clarity at higher volumes and the undistorted bass it has for its size. Any genre of music is really good to listen to on this little speaker. The design isn't very attractive but once we listen to the sound, the shape doesn't come to mind anymore! Finally, a worthy purchase and I am going to keep it.

When i first got this i loved it, then i notice it would not sync with my mac computer anymore, then it wouldn't sync to my phone. So i took it back. was really surprised since Bose makes such great speakers, which is may i bought this one.

Worked great for first two years. As soon as the warranty expired, it stopped holding a charge. I contacted Bose. Because it’s out of warranty, they will only replace it for a “discounted fee” of $75.

Ordinarily I read reviews and product comparisons before buying electronics, in particular. But, in this instance, I found myself in need of a Bluetooth speaker on short notice, so I had to go with my own in-store comparison. It came down to this one, or the more-expensive model (SoundLink 2, I think?), which a couple of friends already owned. As best I can tell, the only differences are: (i) this one doesn't do speaker phone calls; (ii) this one uses a simple charging cable, where the other uses a docking station; and (iii) this one is a good bit cheaper. Glad I went with this one. From my own experiences with the more-expensive model, this one actually seems to have better sound and saved me a few bucks.
