Out of all the bluetooth/wireless speakers (of this size) the sound link not only had a very well balanced sound but maintained clarity with the volume at its lowest and highest setting. The Battery has lasted around 4 days out of the box with it being used around 3hrs per day so no complaints with the battery life. The bluetooth works well with my iPhone and my wife's android. The only negative thing I can talk about is the range. We only made it around 15ft before the signal began to break up. Keep in mind that we are in an apartment so the range may be better for others depending on your location. This is a great wireless speaker for the price!

Save your money and buy the cheap ones! Even if you have money to waste you'll still regrets this purchase. Go with JBL. I also bought the bose qc35 and feel just as bad. Your buying the name nothing more.

I've had other Bluetooth speakers and this is by far the easiest to link and has the best sound quality of any of them. As a matter of fact, I came on this site to buy another one for my husband's office. The colors are vivid--I've got the red one and I love it--I will probably get the blue or white one for my husband. I can't testify to the durability over time--I've only had it a month--but I did drop it once on my laminate floor and it was fine afterward. Battery life seems good. I've listened to it for five hours straight (unplugged) with no problem. Not sure how long it lasts, because I usually leave it plugged in.

When I first saw Bose release these, I was a bit confused as to where they fit in the lineup. There's the Soundlink Mini and then the Soundlink, and this was more of an entry into the Bose brand. With the price you really can't complain, but it still seems odd to see plastic\colors from Bose. If you're looking for something a bit rugged for around the house that's easy to move and take outside, to the kitchen, bathroom, etc, this is your guy. It's cheap, good quality, nice bose sound, and easy to afford. If you're looking for travel portability this definitely isn't your best option. I found even the Bose Soundlink Mini to be a bit hefty for my personal tastes in terms of packing for international travel. This model is FAR too big to pack in the corner of a travel bag.... unless you're taking a trunk for the week or month LOL. If you want portable, you probably will prefer the SoundLink Mini. If you want really portable you may want to look at a Jambox Mini, which you'll sacrifice sound quality with. If you want cheap, but bose sound, but be able to move it around the house, this product is decent.

I purchased this model twice because it is so easy to use and the sound is great. The charge doesnt take long and we are able to take it anywhere. Recommended 100%

This is a truly disappointment to me. although, this is not mine, i still didn't like how bose came up with a very ugly sound speaker to meet the price. buy the mini soundlink either.

Bought this for my Mom at Christmas! She loves it! And I did too! Color and sound are great. Nice size for any room or outside. User friendly as well!

Purchased this for mother in law for her house and we used on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We set it up to stream from Pandora so we had all the christmas songs going straight to the speaker via Bluetooth. NOw since, when i go there on Sundays for dinner she is rocking out to her easy listening with the speaker as opposed to the old boom box/cd player/radio she had.. She has called us countless times to thank us for the PERFECT gift... The sound is amazing and it is so portable and easy to setup she is 75 years old and figured it out with our help within 10 minutes

Returned this Speaker for a Sony, which cost more -- about $200, but offered very simple connection and control via IOS software -- via both local wifi network and Bluetooth.

Just wasn't worth what I paid it's very low in sound and doesn't live up to its name,I was really disappointed in it but still believed it deserved 2 stars.

Love this speaker. I had to knock off 1 star because my unit failed. I'm not going to repeat other positives about the speaker's features. Just my experience regarding a possible issue with some units I read about and my experience. When I originally researched this speaker I found a few negative reviews on the Bose site about early battery failure. So I added the BestBuy 2yr replacement plan at purchase. Glad I did because the speaker did die after about 3 months possibly due to the same battery issue I had seen in the Bose reviews. Mine died suddenly while playing and charging at the same time. Something to think about if you're going to purchase this. I'm just now on my second unit and since I've got the replacement plan it's not that big an issue for me. Otherwise, sound quality and ease of use, this is hand-down the best bluetooth speaker I've ever owned. It is well worth the price.

LOVE THIS SPEAKER. It is very durable, has been dropped a few times (kids carrying it), and still sounds great. The sound that comes out of this little powerhouse is amazing. Great bass and treble too. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I just barely got this lil guy. I already adore him to bits! I knew I loved bose cause I got a bair of their headsets. Seriously though I am blown away by the quality of this lil speaker buddy of mine. I got one in Mint. It is such a beautiful color. If your thinking of getting this lil buddy get it. You will not regret it.

I love this little speaker. I wasn't even in the market for a speaker, when I played with the demo at the store. It was awesome. Now that I have it at home, its FANTASTIC! I use it at my desk at work and everyone loves it! I tried out the mini in the store and it wasn't worth $199. I got this when it was on sale for $119. Best ever! Nice sound quality (hi's and mids!) and the bass is great too. I love 90' and '00's rap and it sound great to me on this speaker.

Can't turn it on unless it's plugged in. Will probably return it and try another one. If I have the same problem will buy something else.

Though it's not the sleekest or coolest-looking speaker around, it has great sound quality, is easy to use, and is portable. It charges nicely with a USB. I usually use mine around the house moving it to different locations. It's a little big to be carried around in a purse but it would fit. I plan on packing mine in a suitcase in a few weeks. The design is a little clunky and masculine looking, but I got the aqua color which tones that down a bit.

I was thinking the bose brand would say it all, but it turned out I got a jbl that was better in price and in sound.

It seems that you have 2 options buying a bluetooth speaker. Either under $100 and settle for tinny sound, or over $200, and get really nice sound. There isn't that much selection in the $100 to $200 range, but the Bose Soundlink Color fills it nicely. Good clear sound that doesn't get tiring, and a nice size to carry around if needed. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good-sounding bluetooth speaker.

Not loud enough for the money.We went back and bought sound touch that plugs in. Works much better
