Won't charge or turn

I tried plugging it into lap top as well as using the cables that were supplied for charging and still nothing. This was a gift so not sure how I can return it. Sad because when it worked I really enjoyed it! What a waste

We can definitely help you with the issue you describe. Let's start with a reboot of the processor. To do so, please connect the speaker to power, then press and hold the Play/Pause button for at least 15 seconds. While continuing to hold Play/Pause, unplug from power, then release Play/Pause and reconnect the power cord to wake the speaker up.
If after doing so the issue persists, please call our technical service team at 800-379-2073. Support hours are Monday - Friday 9:00AM to 9:00PM and Saturdays from 9:00AM to 7:00PM EST.

Bluetooth Failure!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very disappointed in this speaker. I purchased it for the bluetooth functionalility. It worked great for a while and but just quit. I will be returning this speaker for a refund.

If you’ve not already returned it let’s try a reset, accomplished by holding down the AUX and Volume – buttons for 10-20 seconds while plugged in. speaker is no longer able to charge

I tried a few things that I read online about pressing down a button for 15 seconds then unplugging, etc. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. I have read a lot of reviews all over the internet that this is not an uncommon problem. I guess I'll have to throw it away. I expected more from a brand like Bose.

That charging cable is very popular for use with non-Apple phones/tablets as well as many digital cameras. Let's try another cable and find out if we should be replacing the cable for you or looking at service for the speaker.

Good speaker for a low price

worthless without a charged battery

Disappointed

Poorly built speaker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this speaker for my 16 year old for Christmas. Within 2 weeks it stopped charging. I took it back and got a replacement. It's been 8 months and the same problem. It claims it's charged, but it doesn't work. I would not recommend this speaker.

Bose Soundlink - Sound right out of the 1970's
