It seems that the case would eventually fall apart from wear and tear. And you HAVE to take the speaker out of the case to play it, otherwise you have a lot of distortion from the speaker playing from within the case. I don't even use it.

The only thing I do not like is that its a little hard to put the speaker in b/c its sized to the exact size of the speaker which is fine I guess but maybe a little looser so I may fit the speaker in easier.

It's a little snug getting the Bose Soundlink Color speaker in and out of the case which can be problematic if you use it (and recharge it) daily, as I do. Playing the speaker while in the case produces vibration/buzzing on low bass notes. It would be great for occasional use to transport and protect the speaker, and would be much better if the top of the case was zippered. I'll say NO to recommending it to a friend but would also mention that it depends on how they plan to use the carry case.
