This small bose speaker delivers quite a punch. Great quality sound you expect from Bose. And for under $100 . Excellent buy.

Easy to set up. Great sound quality and excellent battery life. I use it in my office and it’s easy to pack up and bring home for the weekend.

If it wasn’t for some of the connectivity issues I would’ve given the speaker five stars. The music plays great and sounds great with quality mids and deep bass. It’s nice to be able to connect two phones at the same time, so if somebody wants to play different music they can. The Bose connect app is pretty cool and you can name your device whatever you want with specific features. The main complaint I have is if the battery completely runs out of juices before you charge it it will go into the standby mode which makes it hard to bring it back into a charge or turn it on. I had to watch several YouTube videos on this ongoing problem. Those should really release firmware that correct this issue. It was frustrating to say the least.

For general listening indoors, on the driveway while shooting hoops with friends, or even in your car if your in-dash system doesn't have native Bluetooth, the SLCII easily met and exceeded my overall expectations for everyday use. One of the most obvious improvements in this updated edition is that it includes the much-requested speakerphone option! I used it in my car for several days and people could hear and understand me, and I could understand them as well. The only issue is that it wasn't possible to get quite as loud as I would have liked or expected.

I am a bit of a bluetooth audio junkie... audiophile? I've tried many dozens of bluetooth speakers (ultra-portable, portable, and tabletop), headsets, and more recently, earbuds. I first bought the original SoundLink Mini 4 or 5 years ago... and have bought many, many competitive offerings. In this ultraportable range, very good ones are from Bang & Olufsen (A1, A2 and P6). Surprisingly bad ones are from Bowers & Wilkins (T7) and KEF (Gravity One). Mediocrity resounds with Bose's own successor to the Mini, the Revolve and Revolve+, as well as the little brother of my all-around, all-time favorite bluetooth speaker, the Klipsch KMC-3 - the Klipsch Groove.

We connected this speaker to our Macbook so we could watch movies. The speaker sound is excellent and it is easy to connect.

Bose is well known for their amazing audio, and its a well deserved reputation. Every Bose device I have ever used has had great audio, and this little device is no exception to that. The set up for this device couldnt be easier. Theres only 2 things in the box. The speaker and a USB cable. Plug the USB into any powered USB source and it will start charging. When it is first turned on it will give you the current status of the battery. In my case it said “Battery High, ready to pair”. So I grabbed my Galaxy S7 and turned on Bluetooth. I saw the Bose Soundlink in the available devices and tried to pair. At first my S7 was saying “Cant communicate with Bose Soundlink”, so it knew what device I was trying to connect to, but didnt pair at first. I tried 2 more times and on the 3rd try it paired and connected. This only happened the first time and since then it has paired instantly with my S7. When it pairs the device tells you “paired with Galaxy S7”, which is nice having an actual voice system in it. But if you dont want the voice this can be disabled. I also was able to pair it to my laptop and it stayed paired to my S7 as well. Its listed as being able to keep track of 8 devices. I was also able to connect my S7 via NFC with a quick tap to the top of the speaker. It connected instantly and was ready to go. So this is another easy way to connect your device if it is NFC capable. The device has a 6 button system on top. And on the side is the USB port and an 3.5mm AUX port, but does not come with a 3.5mm cable. But I had one and it connected to my S7 easily. Each button has an associated LED above it. Button 1) Power: Green = Medium to full charge level, Blinking amber = charging, Solid Amber = Medium charge, Blinking Red = Needs charge Button 2) Bluetooth: Blinking Blue = Ready to pair, Blinking White = Connecting, Solid White = Connected Button 3) Input Indicator: Solid white = System is ready to play content from a device Button 4) Volume Down Button 5) Multi Function Button which does several different things for example, Play, Pause, Skip forward, Skip backward. It also controls the speakerphone when making calls. Button 6) Volume Up The device comes in different colors. I have the Blue one. Its very small so it can be put anywhere. The dimensions are 5.25” H x 5” W x 2.25” D, and weighs 1.2lbs. But despite being small it packs quite a punch with the sound. I was most surprised by the Bass. Not sure what magic Bose does getting such a small device to hit the lows very well. And of course highs and mids sound great. And the sound is very well balanced. So to summarize this is a great little device, with great Bose sound, ease of connectivity, and looks pretty cool also. If your in the market for a Bluetooth speaker you cant go wrong with Bose. This speaker has good sound quality. It i very easy to use and set up. It does not to start at high volume is either. Music sounds full and lively.

Can't say anything else than I love this bluetooth speaker. Fun color, great sound and so easy to get connected with cellphone. What else should you get than a Bose?

We purchased this personal speaker to replace a fugoo speaker which we loved. The Bose speaker is very portable and has an excellent sound. Love it!

For such a small speaker the Bose Soundlink color is awesome. The battery like is solid. Linking via bluetooth, and 1/8" cable is simple. Sound quality is spot on.

Great sound and portability. I connect it to my Samsung Tv and it's perfect for use when I lay in bed.

This sounds great and I can put it in one room and easily hear it throughout my apartment. I had considered a larger more expensive system but this one was perfect.
