The sound is great no doubt but not loving the quirks!

The sound is typical "Bose" with plenty of bass. The mobile app (I use an iPhone) allows for easy setup of the Soundlink. The battery will easily last a full day before needing a recharge. The soft "rubberized" outside is very tough and rugged. My only wish with Bose is that they include a way to adjust to amount of bass; at low volume the sound tends to be out of balance with too much bass. I also have a Bose Solo-5 sound bar that does include a way to raise and lower the bass (very handy). Bose could easily include a bass adjustment with the mobile app for the Soundlink.
