I had the original sound link for about 6 years. It still works fine. But I wanted to upgrade and I can say I'm not disappointed one bit. Great bang for your buck! Fits perfect in my work bag or carry on.

Good sound and holds the quality at higher volume. Small enough to put in an out of the way spot to play while working or place out on a table while talking and visiting with friends or family. The battery holds up well. Only draw back is it seems to have more of a directional sound than omnidirectional sound.

Pros: Great sound quality, portable, good material, very easy to use. Cons: Bluetooth connection, naturally, can get spotty depending on how far away your paired devices are. Sometimes, but not often, the speaker either doesn't power on or doesn't charge, requiring a quick connection to the charger or a complete reset (holding the power button and options button simultaneously for a while), respectively. The most abysmal thing about this speaker in my experience is the battery life. Drainage can be slowed if you don't regularly use Bluetooth (the speaker supports a 3.5mm jack as an alternative), and if you turn it off immediately before you go idle. This is absolutely not a speaker to leave on without use unless you have it charged at all times, and while that is to be expected with wireless speakers, I would've liked to see a much better battery life. Verdict: Cons may outweigh the pros, but as long as you know what you're getting into, it is definitely a good speaker. I just wish I didn't pay $130 for it when there were many other options.

This is the best portable bluetooth speaker that I have purchased. The sound is great and the battery lasts quite a long time. It also tells you when the battery is low so you know when to recharge it. I highly recommend this Bose portable bluetooth speaker!

This was a purchase for my parents. I was looking for a small durable Bluetooth speaker that would be easy for them to carry with them on the go and this definitely fit the bill. I'm not a audiophile, but I felt this product produced great sound for it's size. A+ so far

So much sound packed in such a tiny vessel! I love my speaker. Can connect multiple devices at a time. I never miss a notification while listening to my ebooks or music. Great quality!

I purchased this item to replace my Skullcandy Pipe speaker set that was destroyed. This unit was pricier but sounds soooo much better. The Bluetooth capabilities allow me to listen to my ipod wirelessly while I shower. It has much more punch and setup was a breeze.

Love the sound. The color is not a true white but more like a bluish white (I guess thats why they call it polar white). Easy to set up and the sound is top notch.

I love the sound this small speaker gives. It is so easy to operate and easily connected to my phone with WiFi. A tip my daughter gave me is to place the speaker against something to get heavier sound, and it seems to work for me. I'm enjoying it!

I have one of these already, and got one for my dad for the holidays. They have great sound and a nice bass to it so it doesn't have the tinny sound of cheap speakers. It's really what you would expect from the Bose name. Only issue was some difficulty pairing it with an HTC M10, but I think that was related to the phone not the speaker. Went to a Bose store and they were able to get it working.

It has amazing sound. I almost perfer it over the soundlnk which is more expensive

Great sound and value! I own two, so I can make use of the party mode and pair them both with my smartphone! I listen to Pandora and stream videos! Living up to the quality I have come to expect from Bose!

I bought last years model for my son in black and his son liked it so much that I recently bought him one in the red/orange color and he likes it a lot. He found it easy to set up, small enough to be portable, and the great sound quality you'd expect from Bose.

I am a bit of a bluetooth audio junkie... audiophile? I've tried many dozens of bluetooth speakers (ultra-portable, portable, and tabletop), headsets, and more recently, earbuds. I first bought the original SoundLink Mini 4 or 5 years ago... and have bought many, many competitive offerings. In this ultraportable range, very good ones are from Bang & Olufsen (A1, A2 and P6). Surprisingly bad ones are from Bowers & Wilkins (T7) and KEF (Gravity One). Mediocrity resounds with Bose's own successor to the Mini, the Revolve and Revolve+, as well as the little brother of my all-around, all-time favorite bluetooth speaker, the Klipsch KMC-3 - the Klipsch Groove.

I love it! It has a clear sound and it's perfect for travel or desktop. You can move it from room to room, or outside by the pool with ease. I highly recommend it!
