To use on a patio or a deck, it's fine but to play music loud enough for a small party it is not appropriate. Also the bluetooth is not very powerful and at 20ft away will lose connection.

It's range is satisfactory and it looks nice in most environments. However, there is one issue: The speaker turns itself on when a paired device does. This means that whenever I turn the Bluetooth on on my laptop or phone the speaker does too regardless of if I want it on or not. It's an odd removal of choice from the user and really needs to be fixed.
