Bluetooth is great and works great. I enjoy just sitting on the porch and enjoying my music to relax. a lot of bang for the buck. Bose is well worth the price.

Turns on by itself and kills the battery. You can control when it turns off. a half hour or never. There is no way to reprogram the speaker to stay off. When a Bluetooth device is in range, it turns on and trys to connect. In a office with multiple Bluetooth devices, it trys to pair all day, and kills the battery.

Delighted to hear that you're enjoying the audio performance of the speaker! We designed this speaker to deliver unmatched sound for its size. The speaker features Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE), which means other devices can view the speaker, even when it's in standby mode. If another device, like your phone or computer, then initiates a "pairing" connection, the speaker will power-on. This is initiated by your computer or phone, not the speaker.
Try disabling Bluetooth, or adjusting your phone/computer's Bluetooth connection settings to resolve this.
