Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stopped working after one year, I sent it in and paid $50 to repair it. A year after the repair it stopped working again. My boyfriend has one of the older models and his has lasted for over six years. I take care of mine and honestly didn’t even take it out of the use very much and it still broke.

Once I got the unit home, I was under-enthused by thin weak sound. Not only was the bass thin, but the over-emphasis on the upper range made the music sound thin and weak. I am not a fan of enhanced bass devices, so the younger set would probably be even less pleased by this unit.
