After reading all the reviews I decided to purchase this design since it was just the size I was looking for. I got the speaker on sale too. The bass is nice but the speaker for the voice/music itself isn't that loud. I have another brand speaker where I can completely turn up the volume on the device first and still add more volume from my phone volume. With this Bose speaker if you use the device volume control it will control your phone volume too thus not making it as loud as you want. If you want a loud speaker this isn't it, want an avg sound with some nice bass then you'll be OK with this one. It is not thumping bass like a sound system either so please don't be misguided.

It’s a little low to me not what I would except from this company but besides that it’s durable can get wet great for pool beaches and easy to store in a bag or coat pocket if needed to

I use this little thing all of the time. I cannot wait to pair a second one! Buy this if you are considering.

I heard my friends Bose SoundLink that she received for Christmas gift and I loved it! I also love the convenient size! It linked right to my iPhone so I'm very happy to have music with me all around my house!

I purchased this Bluetooth speaker for my son for Christmas, and he loves it! The full, rich sound Bose is known for is represented in this rugged, wireless speaker. It's a terrific speaker at a terrific price.

My old BOSE finally kicked the bucket. This is my 2nd BOSE, and I am a fan for life. Gr8 sounds out of a tiny package. I do not know how they do it, but it's rad.

I received this as a gift and love it. I have an iPod classic which is not bluetooth enable. I love that I can connect my iPod to it and listen to it from several rooms away. The sound is very clean and crisp.

I love the item. I have everything by Bose. I was using it on the porch listening to music and reading a book and my neighbors were amazed with the sound

But this now! I got it on sale and if is amazing! I always wanted a portable Bluetooth speaker and never really looked at Bose because I thought they were too expensive. I caught this on sale and love it!!!

We tested many different portable speakers in store and this one blew them all away. Still blows us away not at home! It doesn't have all the frills some of the others may have, but it has the best sound.

As I write this review the Bose device is playing and making me feel good. The price for a Bose was what got me to purchase it and I have not been disappointed. It has easily paired with my iPad and my iPod.

It’s excellent. I’ve purchased two of them. I’d buy it again. It turns itself on & connects to Bluetooth automatically when you pick up your phone to play music.

This little guy is awesome! The sound is SO good! -rich, not tinny. We bring this everywhere-even into different rooms around the house. The only time volume is an issue is when vacuuming or mowing the lawn.

I was struck by the sound quality coming out of such a small box. Mind you, this is used solely for music playing in rooms at home, so it's sufficient for my needs.

Not normally a fan of Bose. Their speakers create an artificial sort of sound without the use of a woofer. This speaker was a nice surprise. It sounds amazing!

I am so happy with this little speaker! It doesn't handle the bass of say, a TOOL song, turned up really loud, but otherwise I am completely satisfied

Not sure if it's the size or the wireless factor. I did think it would have more sound. I mean like my other Bose that has a docking station. That one is so amazing. But it really does the job well enough.

This is an okay product for the price. There is not nearly the volume or bass I expected to get from a Bose speaker, but I suppose that is due to the compact size. The color is beautiful and vibrant!

I have had one of the Bose Soundlinks for about 2 years and I love it! My son would always get mine and have his phone connected to it for music. I got tired of him using mine so this was his Christmas gift!
