The design is a few years old now, so there's no truly innovative or novel features (smart assistants, USB-C charging, multi-device pairing etc). So personally, I think it's worth forking over a little more for a nicer model like the SoundLink mini 2, which can regularly be seen on sale (sometimes refurbished!) on Bose' ebay page.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing some issues with your Bluetooth connection. Have you cleared the pairing list? You can do this by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds. Once complete, delete the pairing on your source device as well. Then reconnect like a new connection.
