It is attractive, and set up was a breeze. I downloaded Bose Connect from the App Store (as recommended in the instructions), then paired 2 iPhones and 2 iPads in just seconds. My husband and I then played around with switching it from one device to another, and that could not have been easier or faster. I haven’t yet found the extent of the battery life, but on the first day my husband used it with his iPhone to stream a full NASCAR race, followed by a football game, all while lounging out on our deck. There was no loss of strength or fidelity, and recharging it afterwards took less than an hour. We don’t plan to use this speaker in the rain or throw it in a pool, but knowing that it is water resistant makes us more comfortable using it on the deck or out in the garden. Sound quality is excellent, as expected from Bose, and the speaker’s portability means we can move it around to attain optimal sound in different settings. It is great to use for phone conversations, providing a big jump in sound quality over the speaker function on my iPhone. I think I will need to get a second SoundLink Color II for me to use the next time NASCAR is on.

He likes it, but he does complain about the battery life and that its not that loud. I like that its waterproof and he can use it when washing his car. It also looks and feels like its made for clumpsy or careless (by nature) people.
