Good speaker but replaced with Bose Revolve

But after I bought it, Best Buy put the Bose Soundlink Revolve (which was my first choice) on sale for a very good price. So I returned the Soundlink II to get the Revolve. There was nothing wrong with the Soundlink II but with the sale price the Revolve was a better value at the time.

Not what we expected

Decided to try a new brand that. I thought would produce better sound. The recipient was appreciative but not impressed by the volume. The cheaper option I gifted them before was better.

Great sound at our Rotary Meetings.

Also tried some external speakers that plug into the laptop, not much better. Meeting room PA system was not desirable. So, we now have sound for our speaker's video's if needed.

On the downside, I listen mainly to words, rather than music, and my one criticism is that there are no adjustable tone controls. For my ears there is too much bass

One disappointment - does not come with AC charger - only USB - so took quite a bit of time for it to charge.

Not brand new

Unfortunately I didnt open immediately upon delivery so it was too late to take back. When opened the box the speaker was dusty and dirty and had NO USB charging plug in the box.
