The quality vs. the price does not match up. I can get a comparable sounding speaker for about half the price, even when this was on sale for $80, regularly $100.

In a world filled with countless Bluetooth Speakers, Bose comes along and makes this small sized powerhouse! I received the speaker at no cost for an honest review and I must say, there is a reason why Bose is the elite sound company. I own 4 other Bluetooth Speakers and what sets this one apart is its size to sound comparison. It is 5inches wide by 5 inches tall and about 2 inches deep. It produces a very crisp sound with all types of music. For bass lovers, this speaker produces clean bass for its size. An advantage is that it is water-resistant which is a nice feature if you use it outdoors. Water resistant does not mean waterproof, it just means it can get splashed some and be OK but not submerged. It has a water resistant rating of IPX4. Another feature I really like it's the NFC pairing. To pair, you push the NFC button on the bose, touch the BOSE with your NFC-ENABLED phone, and voila! Your phone auto pairs the Bluetooth between both devices and they are now linked. The speaker also has a standard audio jack for direct plug in. Overall I am very satisfied and impressed with the sound and this speaker does not disappoint! I played music for almost 4 hours andit was so going strong.

I had it hooked up with my computer through Bluetooth and it work great but the volume would not go higher. very irritating. I finally had to remove it from my computer and "found" it with my phone. It worked two times with my phone and I was ecstatic! It played two times for me and when the battery died, I recharged it and now it won't connect with my phone. Regardless of what I do I can't hear it. My phone plays the music, but the speaker doesn't connect. I have wanted Bose sound for decades. This was on sale and I bought it. Now it is just a dust collector. Very sad indeed.

Clearing the pairing list will allow you to create a new connection with your phone. To do this, hold the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds until you hear a tone. Then, on your phone, and any other previously connected devices like your computer, go to the Bluetooth list and delete the speaker. Now you'll want to connect to your devices again.
