I returned it and tried another one to confirm. If you’re using this for phone or conference calls it’s completely useless. Nobody can hear you talk. The Bluetooth constantly cuts out and the speaker makes robot sounds. Unfortunately I’ll have to return the second speaker and start from scratch. If the Bluetooth connection was better it would be a great speaker.

I have had no issues so far with this little thing and to me, it's the perfect size and shape. Easy to carry around and set up. The sound is amazing and really packs a punch. It connected very easy to Bluetooth and connects automatically for me after I turn my Bluetooth on. It is water resistant which i love because I listen to it in the shower and the steam can build up but has never affected it! It's loud and the bass is very subtle. Great for that work out or friends coming over! I wanted to try this because Bose has amazing products and this is definitely one of them! It's a must have!!

This also happened with the second one the Soundlink Color Speaker II. I thought they would have corrected this problem. I did buy the protection so hopefully will be getting a new and improved version.

Bose speaker was good at first - not now

It reconnected automatically to my laptop whenever I turned the speaker on. The sound was great. Don't know what happened, but now I have to reset it every day. The laptop settings show it's connected but no sound comes through. I have to remove the device from bluetooth list and sometimes I even have to reset the speaker completely. I wish that I hadn't let the return time lapse. Generally I've had good luck with Bose products.
