Horrible quality...avoid at all costs

The unit will not remain connected to the app or any device and constantly repeats it's connection status every 30 seconds then suddenly died with 100% battery power. Complete embarrassment of a product from Bose.

Need to be louder

Do not buy

My speaker stopped working not even 2-years in. I was listening one day with a fully charged speaker and it just stopped working now I can’t seem to charge it, turn it on, etc. Searching online it seems this speaker has a lot of issues. I wish I had known these issues prior to spending close to $200.

Disappointing

It sounded good- but not what you’d expect for a Bose speaker. After 4-5 charges, it won’t even turn on. I can’t return because it was passed the timeline, but I will be sending it to Bose to hopefully be fixed.

It on last a couple of hours before recharging

Stopped working

Then last week, it just stopped working. It won't let me charge it and a yellow light only briefly flickers on. I googled a solution (which unfortunately did not work for me) and apparently this happens all the time. Very disappointing that I wasted $100 on a speaker that lasted me four months.

Replacement speaker for the first one that failed.

VERY DISAPPOINTING SPEAKERS_DO NOT PURCHASE THESE

They are still in excellent condition, other than the dead batteries, and I am very disappointed. I also have a couple of the Bose Micro Soundlink speakers and they are still working very well. The Soundlink Color (I have the yellow ones) are completely non-functional. And yes, I have tried to reset them, but it did not work.

Great bluetooth speaker that is to use

It is water resistant so if it gets wet near the pool or a mist from outdoor activies your ok. The battery life was about 7.5 hrs. So easy that my 9yr old set it up. Has a nice app if you want to rename it to find it better later. The only cons are that there was not a wall plug with the charging cable. The material is a nice silicone but am worries it will not wear well and will be hard to clean. Speaker was average to slightly above average sound. There are louder but they cost more.

Wonderful Upgrade over first rendition!

Battery life is acceptable with around 6-8 hours depending on volume. NFC paring is a plus for Android devices and laptops. They added water resistance and the build quality is superior to last year's release. Sound quality seems a bit better with the highs and bass is cleaner. Bose just keeps getting better and better with their device updates. I LOVE THIS! I recommend to all who are in the market for a portable bluetooth speaker. Pay a little more and get the best.

Worked with phone but not tv

It's odd that you're having problems controlling the volume of your speaker. I'd recommend establishing a new Bluetooth connection between your speaker and your TV. This may correct any errors during the pairing process. You can do this by holding the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds until you hear a tone.Then, on your TV's Bluetooth list, delete the speaker.

Terrible

The absolute worst blutooth implementation i have ever encountered. Takes at least 2-3 times to get them to connect every time. One of them will just shut off with a message on my phone saying it is at 10% battery when it is plugged in. Needless to say, the batter life is awful. Just an all around terrible experience.

Bad sound quality

Have you tried connecting a different device to it? Have you also tried increasing the volume via the button on the speaker, as well as ensuring the volume is all the way up on the connect device?
