Speaker awesome but charging cable was damage after i realize this and found another thats when i enjoy the speaker.

it was ok i ended up returning it for a jbl. It wasn't worth the extra money for me when jbl did the same thing.

Sounds okay. I like my JBL Flip better, but this gets the job done.

Small but powerful! I do not need to pull out the big speakers , but plenty loud.

Early on in my music listening life I thought Bose was really cool. I remember listening in the stores and thinking that the Wave radio and the headphones were awesome. Only problem was, I could never afford their stuff. Fast forward a few years to when I finally got one of my first sets of what I considered really nice headphones (they have to be really nice because they cost a lot right?). I thought they were great until a friend let me try their headphones (Audio-Technica) and I was blown away by what I was missing with the Bose. I became ardently anti-Bose from that point on. Ok, why the story about why I don't like Bose? Because since the advent of bluetooth I have owned a ton of bluetooth speakers (really, if I still had them all I would probably have more than a dozen which is silly), and none of them were Bose. Enter the SoundLink. A friend of mine was raving about his saying how much he loves it and when my office speaker died on me I decided to give the SoundLink a try. I was not disappointed. I now own lots of great gear for listening to music (Sennheiser HD 650s, custom in-ear monitors, high end bluetooth speakers), and I have to admit, Bose is now to where I always assumed they were. This speaker cranks and it sounds awesome doing it. Quite a few of my other bluetooth speakers would have the music break down if it was taken to loud, but not the Bose (it goes to 11). Combine the great sound, with very good battery life (so far I have gotten better than the 8 hour rating on the box), and put it all in a nice form factor with great weather/element resistance and you have a winner. My only complaint is the color. I only had the choice of a blue speaker and it is a little too pastel for my taste. Though it is better than black which is boring or white which would get dirty in no time. Perhaps they can do some more adult colors sometime in the future. All-in-all, this is a great speaker for a great price. It made me a believer again in Bose.

Good purchase, love the Bose App. I thought it was great until a friend bought a Harman Karden for about the same price. But theirs drowns my mine out easily.

Over the years I have tried a lot of bluetooth speakers and considering the size of the speaker I was expecting lower quality sound that what I actually heard. First I want to start of with the construction, the speaker feels good to hold it feels like a well made and sturdy product. It was also very easy to pair to my phone, it has voice prompts that clearly tell you what device the speaker is paired too and also the battery level. Now for the most important part the sound. the speaker sounds fantastic at low to medium level volumes. It can get quite loud if you push the volume up to the max but you lose all of your low end and start to hear some distortion. A little over medium was where i found the sweet spot for sound to be, if you have the volume too low the low end sounds seem to overpower and mids or highs. it does not sound bad at lower volumes but I could tell the difference in sound. Overall I would recommend this product to someone if they would ask me for a good solid sounding bluetooth speaker.

This thing sounds great, but do a google search. I've already had to have this replaced from Bose.

Worked good but does not seem to hold a good charge. It ryns out of power after and hour of use.

Being a fan of Bose, been very curious about this speaker. Overall, easy to recommend to anyone wanting a good, deep sound from a BT speaker. The best bass noise by far on this type of tech. Also, very easy to pair to other BT, like a cell phone. The only negative I've noticed personally is while the sound is nice and rich, the volume level is usually on the lower side and need to be around 70% minimum. On a side note, you can control the device through an app called Bose Connect. Easy to use, but if you are using Google or Amazon music for example, you can control everything already through the music app. Also not to big, which is nice and can be carried by hand, no problem, since it is very light.

unreliable volume sometimes too low even when fully charged

The device only works for a night, but when it works the sound was great for a little device.

We are bringing back the Sony. We had hoped it was a software issue. For use the Sony has been a nightmare.

A little disappointed by the sound performance coming from Bose reputation. For the price would of hoped the sound would of been more enhanced

Im lil disappointed about this cz the sound sometimes like lound sometimes not lound need to disconnected whenever need to use.

In the store, this speaker sounded awesome! Got it home and it’s just okay. I guess my Apple products have me spoiled.

Worked great but less than a year after purchase I can't get it to turn on.

It works until it gets to a medium charge left on it and completely shuts down. So I recommend buying the warranty... I missed the boat on that.
