I'm in the process of returning it to the store to get my money back. I love the speaker has great sound, but this device is defective.

Awesome sound for a small speaker

I have used blue tooth speakers before and was not really impressed with them. With that being said, I really did not expect it to have such a great, clear sound to it. I like the design, its tough but looks sleek. The soft casing makes it finger print proof and easy to clean. The base of the speaker is a rubber material and keeps speaker from sliding around. It is not the smallest speaker, but still fits in your hand for easy transportation. The battery life on the speaker is really great too. I did have to charge it right out of the box, but oh well. I was not too impressed with the instructions. I understand trying to keep it simple, but it would have been nice to have things a little more elaborated. However, the set up and use was a breeze. I was able to connect to the speaker prior to even downloading the application. From other reviews and information that I have read I should be able to access Siri or Google, but I have not been able to figure it out. I will keep trying though. As of now, I would definitely recommend this speaker to anyone.

The volume range is perfect for an at home jam, party, get together or just for low key background music. I honestly felt like I had an at home speaker system, but with the major plus of it being a lightweight, portable device. It has a rubber coating which makes it feel super durable, while maintaining a super classy look. I love that it’s water proof! It makes it perfect for outdoors!! Seriously you can throw this in your bag and you’re good to go for whatever get together. It is super easy to set up, and I love the added feature of being able to select your primary language. The only downside is that I wish the charger cable was longer… that and it would’ve been nice if it came with the actual wall connector. Also if you have too many bluetooth devices around it can go in and out of connecting between them... but if you turn off the bluetooth on all but the one you want to connect it with, I didn't have any problems. Overall tho, this device is definitely a thumbs up!! Great quality, great sound, perfect portability.

The speaker body is the greatest. It is all rubber so it is easy to grip, looks great , and is obviously for the water resistance. It is slightly smaller as well which is better. The sound quality of the Soundlink Color II has richer highs and does not distort when played at full volume. I had no problems pairing it to my iPhone 7 plus and it never disconnected. I enjoyed receiving a call on it and being hands free. I think that will come in handy at the lake and beach. My only criticism would be that I can't pair multiple Bose speakers to my phone like other brands now do because I have now three Bose Bluetooth speakers. I

My main intention was to use as speaker phone. My patience was gone today. Planning to return to BB.

So sorry to hear that your speaker is no longer charging. Have you tried an alternate charging cable to see if this is the fault? I would also attempt to update your products firmware via connecting to a computer via USB and visiting http://btu.bose.com/ for further instruction.
You do have a 1 year warranty included with your purchase, if this persists we will happily get this resolved for you.

Posted .Hey Patti, this is highly unusual. Are you using a 5 vDC, 0.5 A (1 A recommended) charging power supply? Anything less than this will not charge the speaker and anything more will break it.
