    All of a sudden i have to keep my phone right next to the speaker or it won't keep the bluetooth connection. For the orice it should last longet.

      Hello,

      Sorry that you are having some issues with the connectivity of your product. Have you performed a reset of your speaker? To do this press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the Bluetooth light blinks blue and a voice prompt instructs you to select a language.

      This should show some improvements. However if this persists, please reach out to your local Bose product support team where we will happily resolve this for you.

    Had this less than one year and it quit charging and the turning on!

    This speaker disappoints. It is not very loud and the sound quality is minimal for a Bose product. Would not recommend,

      SoundLink Color II is packed with exclusive technologies. The dual opposing passive radiators, help it pump out sound while keeping vibrations to an absolute minimum. It’s how we make a speaker that rocks your world without moving an inch.
      The EQ settings of your Bluetooth device can affect the sound. On the device, try setting the EQ to "off" or "flat" and disabling any other sound playback adjustments (i.e. loudness, compression, reverb, etc.). These settings are commonly found in the device's audio settings or in the settings of the app being used to play audio. This should address the issue you are having with the sound quality.

    I really expected better battery life I’m constantly having to plug in. I don’t listen full blast either

    I LOVE boss, but this was an extreme failure. It kept loosing BT connection and the loudness of the speaker, for a Bose, was less than desirable. I returned it the very next day.

    Plug it in and you're off! This little thing paired with my iPhone effortlessly. My partner then paired hers to it as well. No problems. We played some tunes and they sounded awesome. Deep, solid sound - but certainly not the best sounding speaker I've heard. It can play loud without issue and the louder it is the better it sounds. Both sides of the speaker gave the same sound. We tried a phone call and it worked well. I do t think I would ever use it for that, but a good feature to have available. Not a lot to it - included is a USB cable and no charger. I have extras and a surge protector with USB ports built in, so I'm good. But if you don't have that, you will have to buy an electrical charger. It's not that expensive. I think it's well worth the price. Doesn't include a very good instruction guide, but trial and error allowed me to figure it out. I will need to find a guide online for more info. All in all, it's fun and easy to use. Can be taken anywhere.

    Powerful Little Speaker

    This speaker has great sound for such a small package. I had heard the speaker once briefly at my sister's house and knew I wanted one of my own. I just didn't realize how good the speaker would be. My soundlink color has been used to help me get through the fun task of cleaning the house and has been used outside while gardening. The best part is that even outside I don't have to have the sound up very high and can hear it clearly with great sound quality. My only issue having it outside is that I have to make sure I have it set up on something so that dirt does not get into where I plug in the power cord. I have also used The SoundLink in my classroom at school. Again, it puts out great sound for the size of the room with the volume set at less than half. I'm able to set some great music for my students to complete their work to. I also like to bring the speaker into the gym when we are doing activities there and sadly, the speaker does not quite get loud enough to be heard when the kids are playing tag. I know, huge gym and small speaker, it probably won't work, but I was hopeful. What I do like is that when I turn the speaker on it tells me what devices of mine are close enough and linked to the speaker. I can also tell how much battery life is left just by looking at it, green for high charge, yellow for medium, and another color (I haven't been there yet) for low. What I wish would happen would be a battery life percentage to be announced when I turn it on like when I use my headphones. Overall I love the speaker and would defintely recommend it to friends and family.

    treble is terribly lacking. won't stay on when plugged in to USB, so useless to pair with echo dot, if you have to turn it on every time, other than that, it's great.

    Bought this hoping it would be up to Bose expectations. Not impressed. Difficult sometimes connecting and wouldn’t play while charging. Returned it.

    I've owned the original version of this speaker and had no complaints. In this version, they've made it water resistant, something that the first model hinted at but didn't deliver. Sound-wise, both sound very similar, although I feel the new version provides a bit more depth. My biggest complaint with the latest version is that it comes with a charging USB cord, but no charger, Bose hoping that those who buy this will have an extra charger sitting around. I really liked the slick folding charger that they had provided with the original version and am very disappointed that it wasn't supplied with the new one.

    Not happy/impressed with this product. At day 30, use of 3.5mm speaker failed which was the main reason I bought this device. I was working great up until I shut my mac off for the weekend. I tested the speaker with two sources. I do not want to use it with Bluetooth. Unfortunately for me, I did not buy a warranty...
