Disappointed

Battery life for this item is quite honestly Terrible..Been watching this item for a few years. Never dropped. I feel Bose dropped the ball ok n this item. Maybe I got a bad device. But no rep is getting back to me

We appreciate your loyalty to Bose, and we're sorry to hear you're experiencing difficulty with this speaker's battery. We would first recommend rebooting the battery with these steps: 1. Connect the speaker to power. 2. Press and hold the Multi-function button (3 dots) for 10 seconds, and while continuing to hold the Multi-function button, unplug the speaker from power. 3. Release the Multi-function button and then reconnect the power cable. Please look for a slowly blinking orange light that indicates successful charging. Once the product charges fully, you will see a solid green LED light. The battery should last about 8 hours at medium volume. We're sorry to hear about the delay in response from our support team. Returned the item.

A Bose Rep walked me through the process and after 15/20 minutes she offered one more avenue. With that I said it shouldn’t be this difficult and advised her I would just return the unit, which I did.

Not a very good product for a Bose

I have another Bose that I love, but this particular model does not have good sound compared to the Sony and higher priced Bose.

HORRIBLE SOUND!!

I bought 2 fresh ones in the past from CONNs for my nephews and I compared them side to side and place the volumes at equal levels and THIS ONE SUCKS!!!

Very sorry that you're experiencing poor sound quality with this speaker. Have you tried connecting an alternative device with the same outcome? I am deeply sorry to see that the speaker wasn't what you expected and would highly recommend that you ensure that the speaker is running the latest software via the Bose Online Updater as well as trying a different device with the speaker to ensure that the sound quality isn't down to the device.

Decent Sound, Terrible Quality

Sent it back to Bose, received a new speaker in the mail a few days later. This speaker lasted almost a month before the exact same issue came around. Bose is helpful everytime, but who has time to get a bluetooth speaker replaced every month? Save yourself the hassle and buy a different brand

Expected better from Bose

Tiny with Huge Sound

It's easy to pair and you're on to listening to your music. It produces great sound, too. You get the base and treble and not just tinny garbage. It's loud enough to use outside and fill the backyard. I would recommend it to anyone.

Magic in a box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this little speaker. its incredible how Bose has been able to engineer so much technology in such a small compact space. it is perfect to take to the beach or the lake. I took it to the beach a few weeks ago and it was a super windy day, and even with that the speaker sounded crystal clear. At first I thought the speaker would produce more treble than base, boy I was wrong. The speaker executes base like a boss. The speaker is not only elegant in looks but it is also sturdy and feels like it an take a hit without having the speaker not work properly anymore. I played different genres because I know some bluetooth speakers cater more to certain type of music and genres. This speaker does an excellent job at playing soft classical orchestra and nature sounds to edm, electronic, and dubstep. I own other Bose products and time and time again Bose proves to never fail at being the best speaker engineers out there. I will definitely recommend this speaker to anyone especially if they are looking for something good and easy to take on the go.

I recommend getting a New not a used one I’m guessing mine was defective probably why it was returned previously but Best Buy put it back on the shelf.

The Sound is amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was interested in the BOSE Soundlink Color Bluetooth Speaker because during the summer I spend a lot of time out on the river and I haven't found a durable Bluetooth speaker that can handle the water, wind & elements of being outside. I was hoping that this speaker would be everything that it claimed to be & it is! It has amazing sound, great size for tossing in a bag and moving around the boat &, can take getting water splashed on it as we are enjoying our day on the river! Using a Bluetooth speaker outside can be tricky to hear but the Soundlink doesn't miss a beat and deliveries clear sound. I was able to set up the speaker without the instructions. It was pretty self explanatory if you have used and set up items with Bluetooth before. I do wish that they included a wall outlet to go with the USB cord so I could have set everything up without having to dig around for an old/extra plug. Overall, I would recommend this speaker to friends and have already done so!

Portable Bluetooth Speaker

Charging cable wouldn't fit in properly. I went to my local Best Buy. They were great. I returned it to them and left with a new one.
