    I bought this for my Mom to have a speaker next to her chair. Once it finally got connected, the sound would not go above a whisper. Thus she has to put the sound of the TV up so she can hear the TV. Not worth the money. I expected more from Bose.

    For such a good name product my speaker sounds horrible Was seriously thinking about returning it I’m wondering if there is something wrong with it ? A 50 dollar generic speaker sounds better! Don’t waste your money!

    Best Buy screws you over on not giving you points for Apple and Beats products. Good thing I bought Bose in this case. I was looking for headphones too and was going to buy strictly from Best Buy because of the points but good thing I didn’t and I won’t anymore. Best Buy sucks.

    This device struggles to stay connected to my phone. When I receive a call, I have to shut it down and reconnect to play music after the call. Very frustrating!!!

      Hey Montana! This speaker has a Bluetooth range of 33ft, so stay within this for the best connection.     The system will not hold a charge - plugged in or not. I called Bose for support and they told me to contact a store. I sat on hold for 30 minutes, without anyone answering. So, I’m sitting on a lemon.

    I have this since the last two weeks and have been using it at home and love the sound. The speaker is sturdy and practical, made almost entirely out of dense plastic.On the top is the same rubber material as the grey strip. There are buttons for power, Bluetooth, aux, play/pause, and volume up/down. A single light above the power button indicates battery status once when you turn it on, and blinks orange when charging. A light above Bluetooth and one above aux indicates current source. Down right side there is an aux port and a standard micro-USB charging port. It came with the charging cord, but not the adapter to plug the speaker into power plug and i am disappointed on this(need to buy seperate) . The Bluetooth has good range through walls . Hold the Bluetooth button for 3 to 5 seconds to pair a new device, There are voice prompts to alert you when searching for a device to pair, when connected and disconnected to a device and when the battery is low I am living in a small apartment and this little one does the job very well! Connected to my phone with a ease and it charged up pretty quick, Bose still live up to it's reputation, delivering high quality sound even for a Bluetooth audio I feel it is awesome and Love the rich sound that comes from a speaker with this size. I use it mostly at home well, let me say, the response I get from my family and friends is prodigious. It has a well-balanced sound and does deep bass-lines very well. It has an impressive frequency response range that is uncommon in portable speakers, the sound is crystal clear till 90% volume, with minor distortion at max full volume I'm not an audio expert but at max volume it sounds like overpower to the lesser-equipped bass speaker, and the whole thing starts to vibrate. I believe I got about 12 hrs of continuous playback on one full charge while connected through Bluetooth, at about 40% volume. And it takes almost 1.5 hrs to charge from 0 to 100, all while playing music. Overall I will give it 4.8 stars, PS: Music is very hard to judge as my hearing preferences may be completely different from yours. I will definitely recommend this product

    I was surprised at the detail of the sound that comes out of this little speaker. The bass was noticeable but not overdone and ruining the sound just to get some depth from it. I shouldn't have been surprised since I've heard many Bose speakers and they always have great sound. Pairing was also very simple and the music sounds great. With easy setup and great sound I would definitely recommend this speaker.

    Worked great for several months and now the sound is AWFUL. Not sure if there’s a wire or something lose inside, but definitely not worth the hassle and inconvenience of trying to figure it out.

    Volume buttons stopped working after 2 weeks. Best Buy can’t help me because I didn’t buy Best Buy’s extended warranty.

    I am surprised thay Bose would put out such a tinny speaker. It only sounds acceptable played quietly. I returned it and got a JBL for about the same price and it's amazing.

    I bought this so I can listen to music but didn’t end up liking it because the sound was very flat. My phone has better sound quality.

    Where can i start.... I got this trying to upgrade from the wonderboom and it was such a disappointment. Battery life bad, sound not what i expected from a bose. I guess not all bose is good.

    We bought a TV and wanted to have a remote speaker; best buy rep. told us to buy this speaker along with the needed cords/program to use this speaker with the TV. We cannot get this speaker to connect to the TV no matter what we do. Instructions are VERY poor and not useful

      This speaker was not designed to be used with a TV. You can connect it using an AUX cable but it is not its intended purpose. Based on what you require, our Solo 5 Soundbar would probably be a better option for you.
