    I would never recommend this speaker I only had a speaker for two months and he refuses to charge.

    I bought it ,charge it ,it was working fine and then I left it charging for one day and didn't work at all ,brought it back to store to get my refund .won't buy that brand again

    Bose is suppose to be one of the top speakers and this one was nothing close. Sound was horrible

    The speaker emits a strange thumping sound that is very annoying. There is no way to adjust the bass. I am usually very happy with Bose products but this item fails badly.

    This unit is very well made and sturdy. It definitely has to heft to it - I was surprised how heavy it was pulling it out of the box. I LOVE the teal color. It has a really nice outside surface - I don't know what the material is, but it's super smooth. Super easy to set up. You download the Bose Connect app and followed the instructions. It came out of the box charged, so I didn't have to wait for it to power up. I tried playing music through my iPhone. The one complaint that I had about that was, when I turned up the volume loud, I heard a background sound that reminded me of the noise you'd hear when playing vinyl LPs. I don't think that was on purpose, and for me, it was a little distracting. Someone else may not even hear it. The major complaint I have, and the reason I only rated it four stars, is that it would not hook up to my computer. I have an HP laptop with Bluetooth that I tried to hook up to the unit. Neither item found the other. My laptop speakers are not up to par for me, so I was hoping this would solve that problem, but they don't "find" each other. Very disappointed in that. Overall, I would recommend trying one.

    Compact With a Great Sound

    It's such a small speaker but has a huge sound. I like the fact that it can recognize up to 8 recently used devices so I don't have to pair and un-pair it from different devices. It has a built in microphone so that you can talk without having to get out of the pool and find your phone. It's water resistant so touching it with wet hands won't hurt it. It's lightweight and easy to use. I love this speaker and highly recommend it if you're looking for something compact with a great sound.

    Speaker would not pare with existing exact speaker

    My boyfriend has a Bose soundlink speaker. Second one would not pare and sound didn't come out EXACTLY at the same time. We're returning it.

    This 5" speaker doesn't take up much space, but fills the room with sound easily! While looking for a speaker for my office, I came across the Bose Soundlink Speaker II, and it is a perfect fit! Sets up in just a few seconds using Bluetooth or an AUX cord, and uses a micro USB for charging. My only complaint would be that the USB doesn't transfer audio, it's for charging only. This speaker has good strength and sound quality, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

      Hello,

      Sorry to hear you're not receiving the expected 8 hours of battery life. If there is no audio playing and no interaction with your product, it will turn off automatically after 30 minutes. To avoid this, disable or change the duration of the auto-off feature using the Bose Connect app. If this is not the case, please reach out to your local Bose product support team, an agent will gladly resolve this for you.
