I was impressed with how great the sound was on this little speaker! I have used it outside while doing yard work and inside while cooking and cleaning. I even used it while cooking with youtube which made it so much easier to just listen to the instructions as I walked around the kitchen. The battery life has been great so far and I love that it speaks to you and tells you how much battery you have left each time you turn it on! After about 5 hours of use it finally went from high to medium. Looking forward to BBQs and music with friends this summer!

I love this speaker because I was looking for something portable but durable and quality sound. From opening the box it was easy to set up and connect to my phone. I started streaming pandora immediately and used it for an outdoor party. I really can't wait to bring it to the beach all summer and our camp ground! It's super durable and I can attest to that because my 4yr old got his hands on it and dropped it a few times and not even a scratch! So I'm glad I don't need to worry about the speaker getting damanged! It's awesome and I highly recommend !

I first glance the Bose Soundlink color II doesn't look impressive. It's small, and has a matte finish. It has some weight to it and charges quickly. It was easy to figure out how to use even without reading the instructions. As for the sound, it really brings the level that I have come to expect from Bose. It's fills the room even at minimal volumes. I was able to connect all my various devices without any issues. This is a great speak for someone that values portability and still wants a great sound.

I purchased a jambox/jambox mini about a year or 2 ago for about the same price (130.00). I was disappointed with the sound. It had decent bass but the sound just didnt go up loud enough. I just bought this bose soundlink and i am very impressed! The sound is GREAT and its LOUD. I haven't even had to turn it all the way up yet. I'm very pleased with it. It easily beats the sound quality of the jambox.

I purchased this speaker or an older version of this speaker four years and I without a doubt have used it every single day since and it still works absolutely amazing. Not only is the sound quality amazing but the charge last about a week and a half. I'm writing this review because I'm listening to it now amazed that it works just as well today as it did when I unboxed it four years ago. Definitely would recommend and it's worth every penny!

I am not an audiophile, I can't afford it. But I do have a discriminating ear. The reason I didn't give the speaker five stars is because I know there are speakers that can produce better quality, although few can do it at this price. Bang for the buck rating would be 5 stars. Sound quality far outweighs convenience features in my estimation. I also listen to music in a quiet environment at moderate or low volume levels. So, if you want to party down outside with your tunes you might factor that in when reading my comments. I like musical selections in contrast to 'songs' with dominant heavy purcussion, and predominant electronic sounds. When I listen to a track or download through earphones I appreciate the depth of the recorded sounds and the beauty provided by the subtle elements in a composition and the effect of musical dynamics. So there is at least a threshold of fidelity I require to be a satisfied listener. I compared a variety of popular bluetooth speakers in the 'under $150' range. I found too many popular speakers (the highly rated Bose Soundlink Mini 2 included) that overempasized bass compared to the midrange and treble elements. This Bose Soundlink Color II unit seemed to have the most satisfying sound reproduction for my ear and tastes. If it were just a fudge 'cleaner' (less muddy?) in the lower frequencies it would be even better. I'm not entirely sure how to describe it but the overall speaker sound has a just a bit too much theater (read THX demo sound on DVD's) flavor. A week after I purchased this unit I found a $199.99 UE Boom 2 on sale for $129.99, the same price I paid for this speaker. The UE Boom 2 has some very appealing convenience features ('tripod' mount, linking of multiple/stereo speakers, equalizer app) and comes highly reviewed. I had high hopes for the speaker and hoped I had found a deal. I bought the UE speaker and compared it to the Bose speaker at home, with songs containing my favorite musical 'phrases' and dynamics (classic rock, pop, and movie tracks). Without exception my anticipation of those favorite portions of my limited music library were considerably more satisfied by the Bose Soundlink Color II. It is not a perfect speaker but unless you are very demanding (and willing to part with much more money) I strongly recommend you consider this unit. I also highly recommend you narrow your choices to two or three, take them home, and listen to your favorite music selections. Use separate audio devices to drive the speakers so you can play short sections of identical tracks in rapid sucession from the speakers. Play those portions of the tracks that make your hair stand on end or cause you tap your fingers or start 'air conducting' the composition. That will answer which speaker will leave you satisfied and which will wear on your ear.

Sounds great, and easy to store in my toolbox. Love the different colors. Make it easy spot. East to connect to my device. Could be a little louder.

I love this speaker! I'm always too cheap to buy Bose, but after recieved this this one I am never going back. The color is beautiful, sound it great for size.

Bought this in 2017 and she’s still going strong in 2024! Of course with updates so if it ever “doesn’t work” plug it in to your desktop etc. and update it. 10/10

This product is overall great. Exactly what I have come to expect from Bose. The sound is overall good and this product is great for the beach, pool, camping...anything outdoors. It is easy to use and transport. The bass is not as strong as other Bose products, but this speaker can hold it's own! The only thing we could find to complain about is that there is no wall charger adapter. Overall though, we really enjoy this speaker!

When I first got this speaker what on my mind is, this is just a regular speaker but when I heard it sound I was amazed great great speaker, the bass is solid and loud and it sound very clean,to tell the the truth I'm picky when it come to sound and I'm absolutely recommend this speaker.

Speaker has great sound! Was lovely listening to an online virtual concert. However, be aware that using Bluetooth it DOES NOT WORK with ZOOM. It repeatedly beeps (connected) then immediately disconnects and says "call ended". Over and over. Beep, call ended. Beep, call ended. If you want to use this speaker for Zoom you must use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect speaker to your device. Then it's fine. Bluetooth worked as expected when playing music or videos that were resident on my device, and also worked correctly viewing online YouTube and Vimeo. I returned the speaker for a replacement, but the replacement had the same problem with zoom. Meanwhile I listened to an online concert and the sound was so good I decided to keep the replacement speaker even though I have to use a wire for zoom. I recommend this speaker for anyone who does not need bluetooth for zoom.

I've been a fan of Bose products for almost 15 years now and own a variety of their products. Since I already own the SoundLink Mini II, I kind of knew what to expect from this speaker but it has surpassed my expectations by a mile. Definitely has good bass for the size of the speaker and definitely has crisper sound when compared to a few other speakers in the market that sell for around the same price.

Never a disappointment from Bose. This small speaker is not small in wonderful sound. Connected easily to our phones with Bluetooth.

Big sound from a compact, portable speaker. So easy to link and listen to! Easy to charge. I love this product !!!

This may be my favorite electronic that I own. I use it every day. The sound is clear and the base so sounds great. The white is so cute too!
