    I bought mine around 1.5 and it is dead, will not reset. I hardly use it but last year it worked great. Now deait's dead, will not reset, nose has no answers.

    I bought 2 of these speakers as gifts for Christmas and was so impressed with the sound, I bought one for myself!! I mean, it is a Bose, after all!

    I used to own a Bose Soundlink Mini (same price point). The reason I bring this up is because this speaker needs to be within 3 inches of a corner wall to even come close to sounding as good. As soon as you move it out of a corner, it just sounds... terrible. Honestly, I would trade this in for another Soundlink Mini in a heartbeat... better yet, I'd probably just by a JLab speaker, because they're not trying to sell a name. I used to love Bose products, but I have been incredibly disappointed with my last two purchases of their products.

      If you're experiencing a poor sound quality, we would recommend that you check the EQ settings of the source you use, ensure that the volume of the source is not very low (resulting in up-scaled audio), and that there is no physical or wireless interference affecting this.

    Absolute garbage. Won't hold a charge. Which means they have to be pugged in all the time. Kinda defeats the purpose. They even shut off while plugged in. I have 2 of these to play in stereo. Getting them to connect and stay connected is like playing whack-a-mole. I get one connected then while trying to connect to the other, the first one disconnects or just turns off completely. Try again and the second one disconnects or shuts off. On the "upside", after 10 minutes or so of that nonsense, when they are finally both connected the sound is... not terrible. I have owned one other bose product, a pair of true wireless earbuds. One completely died and was falling apart in less than a year. Worst wireless products I have ever owned.

    Disappointed! Wall plug NO LONGER INCLUDED in box

    Speaker is ok, the first one I purchased included the wall plug. So, I decided to get one for a family member in assisted living and when I purchased it I was disappointed to find out that Bose apparently has stopped including the wall plug in the box with the speaker and it's now an additional accessory that one must purchase for an additional fee.

    I have had two of these, they did replace first one, but found it wasn't the speaker it's the way it charges the plug gets bent and won't connect to charge. So they need to improve the charging cord. The speaker is great and nothing wrong with it but I can't charge it so it's worthless ! Very disappointed and looking for a better hopefully Bose solution.

    Don't waste your money, buy something else

    The only reason I gave this speaker 2 stars instead of 1 is because it actually has decent sound quality, but the battery in this speaker is absolutely garbage. It does not last anywhere near 8 hours. 4 hours at best. It will even die while its being charged. It could have a full battery, be plugged in and still go dead. I expected something much better for a Bose product.

    I move this speaker around to multiple job sites and activities, The sound is great however the back electric plug system is faulty. My second one is now defunct. I called Bose to request replacement, their response, it is no longer covered by the warranty. I think I will be switching to another brand.

    Having a few Bose products, I was excited to find this on sale and immediately purchased without testing. I have been very disappointed. The sound volume is very poor. I tested it in a small area (the cab of my truck), and the volume is ok. In my living room, it was way undersized. The volume would have been tolerable had the sound quality been good. This speaker doesn't have the Bose magical sound. It lacks depth of sound. I also purchased a JBL, and ended up keeping the JBL over the Bose.

    As speakers I love these things - great sound. BUT, if you're not frequently using it the battery becomes un-chargeable real quick. I've had two. Same issue. Not used for 3-6 months and now it can't hold a charge. Even plugged in, it is essentially non-functional. Won't buy again.

    Poorer quality than earlier version of same model

    I had an orange SoundLink Color speaker and liked it a lot. Then I lost it and ordered a replacement, this time as yellow one. The current yellow speaker is not made as well as my previous orange one. The buttons are different and the sound quality is not as good. For example, with the previous version I used to be able to listen to podcasts in the shower, but now, with the yellow one, the sound is tinny and it's hard to understand what people are saying. Disappointed and am hoping that I can still return it.
