Bought this for a family member who regularly listens to podcasts from a phone. The setup and connectivity was straightforward, and the sound quality is perfect for listening to song or to the spoken voice. Before, one needed to be a close range to the phone but now it is clearly heard in the room and I have been able to listen in on the same episodes without trying to crowd near a small phone just to hear.

Great speakers for the price! I purchased two and don’t regret it! The sound quality is excellent, and I really like that you can connect both in Party or Stereo Mode. The only downside is that Bose only allows two speakers to be paired at once. It would have be even better if there was an option to connect more than two for larger gatherings or multi-room use.

Just an unbelievable product. Rock solid Bluetooth, ease of use, and how do they get that small unit to make such BIG sound. I love Bose.

The speaker itself I feel is good design, good quality, but lacks in some simple ways. First, the charging port I feel should have a cover so debris, water, etc. could be kept out. Second the first generation and second generation speakers do not pair together. I feel this should’ve been addressed so all Bose products would be compatible together. Third support from Bose has been terrible. if you do get in touch with somebody no help walking you through any type of problem, and don’t bother to try to make a purchase from Bose directly. My advice if you buy a Bose product buy it through Best Buy.

Great size awesome sound. I am using for a large rehab space for patients and love the fact that it is small but yet so powerful.

Having one SoundLink Flex makes for a good casual listening experience, but two linked in stereo mode is a must if you are focusing on the music and bordering on audiophile pickiness. I have a Marshall Action III that has a very good sound (only at higher volumes.... it has a buzzing noise floor that I can hear and bugs the heck out of me at volumes below the 5 setting), but it is very directional dependent. With two SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen) speakers linked in stereo mode, you will get excellent sound and more immersive experience. Glad to see that Bose went up the Bluetooth codec scale on the Gen 2. Won't get that with the Acton III. I use that in Aux mode. The price of two SoundLink Flex speakers is less than the price of the Acton III.

Good product sounds very good the color is great easy and portable to carry

Love the color, and size! Very light and can take anywhere to the beach, on a hike, even at at the pool. The sound is overall great!
