The speaker itself I feel is good design, good quality, but lacks in some simple ways. First, the charging port I feel should have a cover so debris, water, etc. could be kept out. Second the first generation and second generation speakers do not pair together. I feel this should’ve been addressed so all Bose products would be compatible together. Third support from Bose has been terrible. if you do get in touch with somebody no help walking you through any type of problem, and don’t bother to try to make a purchase from Bose directly. My advice if you buy a Bose product buy it through Best Buy.

I purchased two and have been using them in stereo mode. What I like is that you can move all around and the sound is clear all over the place. They are not overpowering. You can stand 5 ft away from them or 20 ft away from them and have a good listening experience. VERY HAPPY with the sound quality. They also run a long time on a charge.

It's a beautiful speaker, it sounds great. But it's heavy. It's something I want to carry around with me and it just adds a little bit too much weight to my bag. If I wasn't planning on use it using it to travel with it be a great speaker nothing wrong with it. It's just for what I needed to do it's just too heavy. I'm looking for something a little bit lighter.

Very good sound for a small speaker. Haven’t tested the waterproofing yet, but hopefully it will be fine if it gets wet.

Wonderful little portable speaker with fantastic sound. After having the Bose SoundLink micro speaker for years, i wanted to upgrade, and i am very i did. Was able to use a carabiner to clip the speaker to my backpack on bike rides, or just use at the beach or at home.

Perfect size for bringing on the golf course. Great sound. Will also be great for the beach this spring.

This speaker sounds great, is a great size for moving around easily, and was very easy to link to my Apple devices. It was reasonably priced and a great value.

Very happy with this speaker. It’s compact so super easy to travel with. The best feature is the ability to connect two speakers and use as stereo or party mode. Bose came out with this feature years ago but it worked poorly and drained the batteries quickly when two were paired. The two new ones I have pair easily and provide very long battery life. Needless to say they sound great.

Love this Bose speaker. It easily connects to phone and is surprisingly loud for the size

This is the best speaker. The sound quality is fantastic and exactly what you would expect from Bose. Worth the extra expense. Sound quality is noticeably better than my JBL flip 6. Battery life not as long as the flip 6 but still good. If you can afford the extra I would highly suggest.

[Employee of bestbuy] So i’m very picky with sound. I listened to everything in store that had a demo. Granted not all the demos have the best songs, but the volume and sound for the price stood out to me in comparison to Sonos and Sony. Personal preference of course, and i will say, not all of the bose products today sound the best in other categories. So this speaker really impressed me.
