Louder and clearer than other speakers from JBL (including some of the bigger ones).

I also bought the open box speaker for cheaper than brand new and then I added a two year Best Buy warranty for extra protection. I plan on buying another speaker and pairing them for stereo mode.

It's not real loud but sounds amazing. It has more lower bass than speakers much larger. I own 12 bluetooth s I speakers and this one is my new favorite.
