Bought one for each of the grandkids for Christmas and every one of them is happy with their Bose! I would recommend buying a case to keep it protected.

One note on it though is to make sure it's up against something solid. The bass in the back will make an odd reverberation otherwise.

This speaker is not nearly as loud as the max but it travels much nicer! It syncs with the max and really fills a room!

I thought the first one was great, but this one is TERRIFIC! The connection is very simple to do, the quality of the sound is superb and the price is very affordable.
