Good, but Anker Soundcore is louder

I was going to use this device for my son's birthday party. The setup was very easy, but to my disappointment, it wasn't loud enough. I understand a birthday party is loud, but I borrowed an Anker Soundcore before and that device was loud enough to cut through the party noise. At some point, I was actually asked to turn down it's volume. The quality of the sound between the Bose and Anker are comparable though, but the Bose just wasn't loud enough. I'd probably use for more private gatherings with less people and less loud ambient noise.

The bass is ok I was expecting a little bit better but for its size it is decent and also depending on its placement clarity and bass is good! Volume could be a little louder in my opinion which also depends on placement!
